Best pair of Athletic Shoes I've ever worn !
I walk my dog (Sadie) two miles almost everyday, and my feet suffered everyday, some days worse than others. I am 71 years old, a diabetic, and I have degenerate arthritis which caused me to have both knee joints replaced. Sadie is my new companion, and I felt obligated to walk her daily, or as often as my feet would allow me. I already had three pairs of athleitc shoes, and each pair left some part of my feet hurting at the end of our walk .It was at this point I got on the computer and began researching for athletic/walking shoes for people with arthritis or diabetics. I got a host of shoes listed for these problems, and it was a difficult chore to try and choose the correct pair of shoes. The New Balance W890v3 allowed me the option of choosing a narrow width which I needed. Why I chose W890v3 was happenchance. There was a W890v2, so I thought a v3 must be better. I took a chance and ordered. When the shoes arrived, I picked up the package and thought, "There can't be a pair of shoes in here because this package is too light." The New Balance W890v3 is the lightest pair of athletic shoes I've ever owned. I tried them on: A perfect fit! Even though I had a blister healing on each heel from my previous walking shoes, Sadie and I walked two miles the next day. I couldn't believe it! These shoes did not slip and slid, up and down on my heels, they stayed put ! The balls of my feet which usually hurt, didn't, plus the sides of my feet which always had aches and pains, didn't ! ! ! It has been two weeks since I began walking with these New Balance shoes, and my feet feel like they are on a child's See/Saw because the heel nor the ball of my feet spend much time on the hard ground ! I LOVE THEM ! ! !

Great running shoes
First off let me recommend that anyone who plans on buying any athletic shoe get fitted for the right shoe. You need to know whether you are a pronator, supinator or neutral when running. Go to a reputable running store, preferably one that can videotape you while running on a treadmill and let the experts tell you what you need. Running in the wrong type of shoes can give you serious long term problems. I did this and New BalanceW890 was one of three different brands recommended for my type of foot. I need a neutral running shoe. Every time these shoes go on sale at Amazon I buy them. They are comfortable, with a little more stability in the heel than other brands, which I like. They are designed to be lightweight and breathable. If you work out regularly, it is recommended that shoes are replaced every six months and these are comfortable for at least that long. I've been working out in this type of shoe for a year now (on my 2nd pair) and don't plan on switching to anything else.

It'll do pig!
I bought these as the price is right and I have worn new balance successfully in the past. I developed Plantar fasicitis so in recent years switched to Orthaheels to correct that. I'm finally heeled "pun intended" and starting to jog and work out a bit and wanted a shoe that was geared to more running less walking. So I saw the price and bought it. Fit great out of the box, wore them around the house, seemed fine. Went out to the gym, was fine throughout workout, but later bumped my toes. I thought they would stretch but they did not. They work fine for an hour work out, but I have to take them off after that because they are tight in the toes. I'll use them for a while but not the shoe I had hoped for.

Surprisingly Uncomfortable
Usually, New Balance makes a very comfortable product, so I was surprised when these were so uncomfortable. I probably could have fit into an 11.5 normally, but New Balance doesn't have that size so I had to buy a size 12 (I'm tall). It's a good thing because my toes are right up against the front of the shoes as it is. The toe box is narrow as well, even though I selected wide shoes to accommodate some foot issues. I am trying to break them in slowly, something I don't normally have to do with this brand. I wear them daily for a couple of hours each day since they arrived two weeks ago. Fortunately, they are made of very lightweight material which is slowly conforming to the length and width of my feet.

sized too small
Though the color and look of this shoe is great and they feel lighter than my flip-flops, the size was too small to keep. I have worn New Balance for 25 years. I always buy size 7. I sent the 7s back and ordered 7.5. The 7.5 is perfect and now I loe my shoes! I really wanted to keep the 7s so to avoid the hassle, but I really couldn't. My big toe was poking the tip of the shoe. Please order a half size bigger than normal. I don't think they will stretch enough to accomodate this problem. The new size I have worn to run 6 miles and they feel great.

Smaller than normal
I usually wear a size 6, but this shoe was a little snug. I have other pairs of New Balance running shoes in size 6 and they fit fine. My big toe was touching the ends of this one. It felt ok, but I could imagine it hurting if I tried running in them. So I exchanged them for the same shoes a half size bigger. Other than the fact that they run small, the shoes were very light and comfy.

Finally a shoe that fits
I have bought and returned more shoes from all different brands and have finally found a shoe that I absolutely love ... The shoe itself is lightweight and fits the foot perfectly so there is plenty of toe room but snug to the foot ... The transition from heel to toe is effortless ... Just the right amount of cushioning on the heel so foot placement makes a perfect landing ... I can't say enough good things about this shoe ... I bought this as my second pair just weeks after my first pair .... I want to make sure I have a pair to run my Boston marathon in this April ...

Light, comfortable, and pretty. Great running shoes.
I have been jogging 5 days a week for the past two weeks. The shoes have been very comfortable. I usually order a size 9 in running shoes. This size 9 is a bit more snug in width around the toes than my last pair of New Balance, but it is not a problem. It actually feels like a better fit. I would order this same size again and would recommend this shoe for others to try. They are very light, and have the right amount of cushion for me. I also love that this is a company that makes shoes here in the USA.

I bought a pair of these in pink and absolutely loved them so I purchased another pair in a different colour! They are equally as comfortable and a great looking trainer!

Perfekt
Men måske vil nogen mene at støtten omkring anklen er for lille?Vælger gerne New Balance igen.

Toller Laufschuh
Leuchtende Farben. Ich würde das Modell erneut wählen.
