Too light to hold flowers
I had expected to be able to use these in simple flower arrangements. They are so light that even a single rose tips over. Wish they had worked.

Makes beautiful arrangement with just a few flowers
I don't have a large garden yet I like having fresh flowers on my table without paying a lot of money to the florist. This simple metal flower frog makes it possible to make lovely flower arrangements with just a few flowers.This holder is a simple metal disk with spikes, which is submerged in the water bowl. The flower stems are impaled on the spikes which allows to space them out and arrange any way you want.I have several of these simple flower frog, I use them in different pottery bowls. I am attaching a photo with Hydrangea blossom in a small bowl with the needle point holder holding the Hydrangea.If you love beautiful pottery it gives you a wonderful way to display the bowl as vessel for fresh flowers.
