HEPA Dry Vacuum, 23 in. H, 15 in. W, 60 Hz

I'm going to write a review which will include the original attix eight SE which I own and have used for about 12 years.First this vacuum is the base unit at this level which means it does not have tool triggered capability. That's fine with me in this case I'll be using it as a home vacuum for General cleanup uses.The vacuum comes packed with a very high-quality hose and a floor tool with chrome extension pieces which fit together perfectly. You also get a brush a crevasse tool and an upholstery tool. Nilfisk has one problem with these tools which is you need to buy a $20 tool connector for them to work with the hose they supply. This tool connector is sold by the same vendor that selling the vacuum or you can find it online elsewhere. The hose 10 ft has a swivel connector at the machine. The machine rolls easily over hard floors up onto rugs and has a long extension cord which makes it convenient to cover a lot of area without changing plugs.The previous review had some criticism of its price and I can tell you I own a Festool ct26 as well,, which cost more and while it's a great vacuum it has a certain use which is at the core to be connected to a sander or a saw. It is supplied with a small 27mm hose whereas the nilfisk comes with a more robust 36mm hose. I've also had two Fein turbo 2 s which are decent vacuum no doubt but both of mine burned up and to replace the motor is more cost-prohibitive than to just buy a new vacuum.If you buy this vacuum go ahead and order the good filters bags, they will save you from having to clean the HEPA filter at each emptying interval and keep the tub nice and clean which is what you bought the vacuum for in the first place isn't it?I highly recommend this vacuum and now own 2.

This vacuum is a beast. I love it, me and my wife cleaned our basement out day one (demoing the basement) and will be using this vacuum for my work. Plenty of power, zero dust, and very well made. So happy I bought this machine over all the others out there. I've purchased probably 10 Rigid shop vacs and they have all failed after the first or second use. I can tell I will have this for a long time. A great investment!! The Germans know what they are doing. I promise you will be happy with this vacuum. Thank you Nilfisk-Alto

Just started using this. It's very powerful with great suction.

I bought this vacuum about 10 years ago. It has a newer shape but it's pretty much the same vacuum. I do carpentry in my garage and this thing is a champ. nice and quiet, plenty of hose, and it has a 2nd motor dedicated to cooling the main motor. Some cons are: it creates a noise by design when it cant suck air. I disabled that. Another is that when you switch it to run when you have a sander attached; it will turn on when the appliance is off. Minor things when you think about how long I've had this thing and the beating I've given it.

This machine being one of the "designer" vacuums is way, way overpriced in my opinion. It is relatively quiet, and it does a good job. But I had one that broke with just light duty use. I was told it was not worth repairing. Waste of money.

I got one of these just the other day from a shop in town, and I must say they are so much better than my previous Dyson vacuum cleaners. It doesn't just suck at the surface but sucks through the carpet too. If you want to give your house a professional clean you will definitely need to get one of these nilfisk vacuum cleaners.
