Our toddler loves her new light switch. She used to always ask us to turn on the light for her since she’s too short so it’s a win for her independence and also for our sanity. If you have a toddler, you know that there are times when they need something done NOW and their mood can turn from sweet to sour at the flip of a switch (ha ha ha). It’s definitely helpful to have this little tool to prevent those little meltdowns when we’re in the middle of doing something else and unable to complete our little one’s sudden request (demand? Who’s to say?). Installation was super easy and took a minute, literally. Opening the package might’ve even taken longer, and you can bet letting our toddler choose their favorite sticker design took ages longer. This could be a great gift along with the corresponding book(s). Definitely recommend!

Amazing product!! My 1 year old and 5 year old can both turn on the hallway and restrooms lights with out any help. Which has helped with potty training too

I have 2 small children so I am constantly turning lights on and off for them, since they can't reach. Better than them climbing or jumping to grab the switch. I bought these and couldn't be happier. They only took a minute or 2 to install, with just a screwdriver. My boys can now turn lights on and off for themselves with ease. They love being able to do it themselves, and I love that lights aren't being left on in places like their bedroom or bathroom. They supposedly glow in the dark but I wouldn't really say that. Periodically I notice a slight glow from the extenders but not enough to be noteworthy. Personally the glow in the dark feature didn't/doesn't matter to me. I will also say these are pretty durable. My boys are often rough when grabbing the extender to turn lights on or off. These have a little bend, more than you'd expect. As an adult who can reach the actual switch I am still able to turn the lights on/off as usual. They are also not an eyesore. The pack came with some stickers but I left ours blank. The device itself doesn't draw attention but with the sticker it would. Since I have one in my bathroom and hallway I'd rather in blend into the background instead of making a statement. This was a great purchase and I would easily buy again or recommend to a friend. I have not removed mine but they do remove easily and leave no marks behind since they install right on your current switch plate.

These work great to help my little one turn on and off light. I just wished either the screws where a little bit longer or the opening for the switch would be a tad bigger to leave some wiggle room for the switch. We have one light switch where we have to really push up hard for the light to turn on. Other than that, the product is perfect. I would definitely recommend it.

I have an almost three-year-old who is all about doing "BY MYSELF MAMA!!!" these days. I had seen these switch extenders at a friend's house, and she was able to use them easily. I decided to buy the three pack because it's a much better deal financially and we put them in a few different places - kidlet's bathroom, kidlet's room, and downstairs half bathroom. The extenders install very easily. You just take the screws out from the switch plate, place the extender over it, and put the screws back in, as there are holes on the extender for them. Make sure you don't screw it all on too tightly or the extender will have more friction in use, which makes it harder for the child to use it. An adult can still use the switch easily without having to use the extender, and my kid can easily turn the light on and off. The moon at the bottom makes it easy for her to grab and grasp - she just needs to hook her fingers over it to control it, which means an even younger child could use this pretty easily too. Bonus: It glows in the dark, so if she were to get out of bed for a nighttime potty break, she could turn the light on. It's cheap, functional, and promotes independence in children - money well spent for us!

What a good invention. My son always needed help turning on the bathroom light and now he can do it himself, not to mention it glows in the dark which is extra awesome. Super super easy to install. It took a screwdriver and less than 3 minutes.

Easy to install and my toddler loves it. It’s long enough for her to reach and pull/push to be independent. Perfect for bathrooms, bedrooms or hallways especially since they glow in the dark.

It was time to get one of these, decided on this one because of the artist's stickers. My kid lost their mind when they saw Eric Carle stickers, I lost my mind trying to peel the backing off to apply them. At first I thought I had the short screws problem, realized that the extender only goes on one way; make sure the printed brand name on the bar is facing forward. Installs and slides much easier when installed properly, seeming short screws not an issue and glides effortlessly. It glows alright, as expected. Another flaw is that it is very short in length, and therefore we weren't able to use it as is. I drilled holes and added zip ties to connect two of them together, child is 34" tall. The round grabbing area at the end is also difficult to manipulate, it's more of a push-and-slide against the wall movement, which I see causing rubbed pain issues in the future. It would make more sense if there were something to grab, a handle or loop or such (but then, where would you put the hungry caterpillar sticker?). All in all I found the switch extension disappointing considering $18 for a three pack . Which brings me to another reason for the rating, $18 for a three pack .

I wish I purchased these sooner for my child. It gives him so much more independence! They were easy to install and he loves the glow in the dark feature. They are definitely worth the price.

Well worth the money. Easy to install on original light switches. I just wish the stickers were cuter lol or even just a little more neutral to go with any room decor

This item is brilliant! My 3year old grandchild uses and is so proud of the ability to reach the light switches. I highly recommend the kidswitch light switch extender.

My 3 year old loves being able to control the lights! I'm glad I got 3 - so we have one in each of the kids' bedrooms and one in the kids' bathroom (although my 1.5 year old can't reach it yet). It's cute and glows in the dark. I wish it came with some different shapes/colors, but it does the job.
