Sort of a tart cherry flavor. The peanuts add a delightful counter balance. The value is pretty good, I can eat these like popcorn so I do wish the packs were a little bigger. But the flavor is just like the ones from Japan, I love them.

As a kid growing up in Japan, I would love eating anything umeboshi flavor! What a joy it was to discover this here on Amazon. So good and so authentic! Even my mom loved these! I will definitely order this again!
