I'm very particular about what toys my son plays with. I try very hard to make sure that everything is nontoxic (or at less less toxic), organic when possible, and simple - no lights or electronics. I was originally drawn to Sola the Goat because it's cute, made of natural rubber, Phthalate free, and uses food grade paint so I thought it would be a good toy for my son. My son started teething when he three months old. None of the teething toys worked for him everything was made for older babies so they were too large for his mouth and, up until Sola, the only toy he'd responded to and liked was his wood play arch (which he loves). The first second he saw Sola he reached out and grabbed it. He'd never done that before and he started trying to hold Sola. Sola's ears were just the right size for my early teether to teeth on and get some relief. And the rare times when he's fussy, Sola's squeak helps calm him down (and doesn't annoy me). My son's five and half months old now and still loves Sola both to play with and to teethe on only now he teethes on Sola's face and legs too, not just his ears. I HIGHLY recommend Sola the Goat to anyone who wants a cute, simple, safe, teething toy for their baby (especially if their baby's an early teether).

I love this company. They do things the right way - they use materials that are good for the environment and good for your baby. I wish their products were in every store and used instead of the cheap plastic stuff that is no good for our children or our world. The baby also loves Sola the goat (as do I! Goats are my favorite barnyard animal!). So cute and very durable - we've had Sola since our dude was born and he's almost 18 months now, and Sola looks brand new. Sola is worth every penny and is so cute I kind of want to keep her even when she's outgrown her use as a teether.

What an ADORABLE little goat! Sola is a beautiful alternative to the other more mass known teether toy that starts with an "S", and at a much friendlier price tag. My 10 month old baby just LOVES this teether. The squeak makes her eyes light up, and makes her giggle with delight. It really is an extremely well made product, with great design. (I cannot help but "squee" at the cuteness of this little sweet goat) This teether will be a favorite for a long time to come. It would make a great baby shower or just because gift for any baby. I highly recommend this product.

We purchased Sola the Goat as one of many gifts for our 5 month grandchild. Was his fav! Easy to grasp, great for teething and just too cute! Would highly recommend this environmentally sound and safe toy for your little one.

I got this as an alternative to the popular giraffe because I thought my 7 month old daughter would like to teethe on it, as she was teething on her other toys but didn't seem to like her actual teethers. It's easy to clean I guess but you have to (according to the directions) keep a finger over the hole for the squeaker while washing and rinsing and if you don't do that I'm not sure it would be mold resistant. I don't feel that the squeaker is necessary and my daughter seemed put off by it. The dog, however, LOVES it. She's a gentle chewer and though I'd never normally spend that amount on a dog toy at least someone is enjoying it because the baby definitely doesn't like it. It is holding up to the dog, though, so 4 stars.

My daughter absolutely adored and continues to adore this little goat. We first gave it to her at 2 months and she liked looking at it and holding it and she smiled when we squeaked it. She is now 5 months and an early teether with 2 teeth already in and this is her favorite thing to chew. It's easy for her to handle and the ears and muzzle are the perfect size for her mouth. I just bought another for a friend who just had a baby. Better than Sophie for sure!

Baby loves this teether now and so does mommy. I chose this over Sophie because it has way less paint (I don't care how food grade it is, I don't want my baby eating lots of toy paint like on Sophie). I also read a mom complaining that Sophie choked her baby since the neck is so long the baby can stick the head way back in their throat and gag. I can totally see that happening. No problem with the goat and it has a pleasant squeak. Not too soft, not too loud or annoying. Winner.

Die Ziege riecht nicht unangenehm und macht einen qualitativen Eindruck. Das Quietschgeräusch liebt unser Sohn und gerade beim Zahnen wird sie gerne angeknabbert. Reinigung ähnlich wie bei Sophie NUR mit verschlossenem Loch, da sonst Wasser in den Innenraum gelangen kann und sich ggf. Pilze bilden.

It's really adorable, and I love that I'm supporting a (at least partly) local product while providing my LO with a safe toy to relieve her teething pain. That said, the ''chewiest'' parts are the legs and they are a bit big to fit in a young baby's mouth, leaving the very small ears and tails which don't seem quite as satisfying. This might be why MEIYA the mouse is more popular with my baby right now; her big ears are easy to mouth and little body make her a bit easier to hold by little clumsy hands. On the plus side, Sola the goat might end up mingling with ponies when baby is older, so I think she might double as a ''regular'' toy and not just a teething toy that will be stored in a few months.

J'ai passé beaucoup de temps à rechercher un jouet le plus naturel possible pour mon bébé de 7 mois qui met actuellement tout à la bouche. L'odeur de caoutchouc est bien présente mais ne dérange aucunement mon bébé. Le jeu est très joli et très facile à prendre en main par mon bébé. J'ai racheté depuis d'autres produits de cette marque et je compte rester fidèle à cette marque !
