Great Ink For Tattoos At Home
I specifically looked for an India ink that could double as pen ink but also was safe to tattoo myself with and my research ended on this one. It does the job. My stick and poke is still here 5+ years later!

India ink is india ink
Has not faded in the sun like other inks do. Seems to be premium ink and keeps it's black appearance on signs that spend time in the sun.

best paint ever!
This was my first time using India ink with my kids for an art project. The ink is so satisfying to use. Goes on smoothly, a little goes a long way, and the color is so crisp. Will *never* use acrylic black paint to line projects again.Highly recommend!

NOT WATERPROOF DESPITE WHAT THE BOTTLE SAYS
The bottle says that it is waterproof but it is NOT. After waiting 30 minutes, the ink outline smeared when using watercolors.

I ink I can, I ink I can, I ink I can....
As a sort of arts and crafts kind of person, I'm always looking for good materials. I bought this originally because I have a fondness for fountain pens. I have several dozen, from the cartridge style to the dipping calligraphy style and use this ink exclusively. It dries relatively rapidly, though if you use a thick line, you'll want to use a blotter before putting anything on top of what you wrote. It flows relatively evenly and smoothly. And it's permanent once it's dried. But it's the versatility and overall quality of the ink that makes it a five star item in my book.I've used this on paper, parchment, wood, leather and many other porous surfaces and have never been disappointed by its quality or durability. It doesn't appear to fade at all. It will even stay in place when varnished over for a higher gloss (I've used tung oil and leather varnish over it). On cloth, be aware, this stuff will NOT wash out. (I wear a lot of black.) But each application returns the same reliable results. It goes on, dries fast, and seems to last forever.A little goes a very long way, too.It only sticks permanently to porous surfaces, though, so it'll come off anything it's spilled on that is non-porous using rubbing alcohol and some patience.I bought about three of these a few years ago and have just gotten my next three. For the price, versatility and convenience, not to mention quality, it just can't be beat.

Fantastic quality product.
This is a great product for what I use it for, I am sure a fair amount of people use it for their ink pens. I however use it to polish my black leather shoes, and various other weird things.I used to buy the cans of black leather shoe polish, that was a pain and it never got the leather to shine like I desired. As an experiment I tried applying India ink with a paper towel, and it put a high shine on my boots without any polishing required. It also obliterated any faded areas. That was nearly ten years ago and my boots are still going strong. I apply a coat about once a year minimum, and I will do a light coat before an important event. A quick rub on my black pants will bring a high shine when I am in a hurry. Two things wear gloves before applying, and let them dry for at least 5 mins before wearing them. A 2 ounce can will last me 5 years or so for one pair of boots.I have also used this ink to highlight scrimshaw, and in a few cases to create a faux ebony stain on certain woods. I emulsified it with turpentine to stain white suede black.Great high quality product.

Best liner I've ever used
Hands down best India ink I've used and can't live without now. I can use on cheap Walmart painting canvas and boards and it doesn't ball up or bleed like the other inks on treated surfaces. You can use this on most surfaces and it dries FAST and has a deep deep black hue that doesn't require a second pass to darken. Thick...sexy....AND when I accidentally get water on my work I can pay it dry and the ink tends to not move or leak. I can also use this OVER AND ON TOP OF satin and acrylic paints. I cant use anything else because haven't found anything remotely at good.

Best all around black ink
I've tried several different brands of black India ink and this one is the best overall. It doesn't bleed on decent paper, doesn't run of smear with copic markers if given adequate time to dry and drying is fastest of any other ink I've used. The only downside to this ink is it's not the darkest in the biz. But imo that's not that big a problem when you consider that it perform flawlessly in every other way
