#1 All Systems Pet Pin Brush with Molded Plastic Handle, Large

This brush is a bit pricey. However, it is SO rare to find a pincushion brush without the pin/ball tips that it is worth it. It is a quality product, not the cheap rubber where the pins fall out or get stuck at odd angles. I used to show spayed/neutered Himalayan/Persians and I found a non-tipped brush at a show. Years of using it for grooming and using it with a hairdryer on the Persians and my Aussies took their toll. I had nothing but shorthairs for a couple years. Then I adopted a sheltie. I found this brush here and even though it is pricey, I ordered it. VERY nice. No pin/ball tips to catch the hair and pull itout, good quality pin fastening, comfortable in the hand. Not a small nor large brush, just avrage good size. My shorthair cats even run up for grooming when I get it out. This is a really nice brush.

I raise pomeranians and papillons and love this brush. There are no little beads on the end to damage the coat and the pins don't push in, the hold their position great. Great quality.

This brush works great for getting the dead loose hair from the coat. It also really separates the coat and makes it look lush and full. I have a Kuvasz with more wiry fur and an American Eskimo with a stand off coat. They LOVE it and think it’s a massage. The brush doesn’t scratch or tear the coat. The brush is very comfortable in the hand and you can get through the coat with little effort. This brush is so good, I bought 2. I may buy another one to use on my own hair. I tried it on myself and it made my hair look thicker!

It's a great quality brush for small money. Brushes very well and easy to clean. I highly recommend it.

It's hard to find straight pin brushes without the "guarded" tips and I have one dog who doesn't like the pin brushes with the tips on the pins. They tug on her hair. I like this brush but am not sure it will hold up for years as my previous wooden handled brushes have. The handle is a good standard size. I have some grip issues and would have liked a thicker handle. People with large hands may find the grip narrow. But it is a standard width grip, great for most.

I just reordered two of these brushes. I started using them about 1986 when I had soft coated wheaten terriers. Having left my own brush at home, i used this brush on my hair. It works great on humans! My wheatens are long gone, but I use this brush every day on myself. Try it.
