Bare Republic Tinted Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 Sunblock Face Lotion, Sheer and Non-Greasy Finish, 1.7 Fl Oz

So, a little background. I have always had oily, acne prone skin. I have tried the CeraVe tinted mineral sunscreen as well as the tinted LaRoche Posay anthelios matte mineral sunscreen. Both left me shiny and greasy looking, with the CeraVe being the worst offender. They are just too emollient for me. I can only use them in the dead of winter when my skin is really dry, but they still leaves me looking like an oil slick and have to blot my skin constantly. Enter this little bitty here. I am in love. So in love in fact that I was compelled to write this review upon coming home and examining my face at the end of the work day. First of all, it goes on like makeup primer. The feel and consistency are similar to my Elf Poreless primer, as well as my old HD primer. And speaking of makeup primers, it acts just like it because I laid some concealer and a bit of blush over the sunscreen and it helped hold my makeup all day. My face was nice and velvety matte snooth all day at work. Only had to blot after going out on my lunch break and sweating in the sun (it was hot today). When I got home, my skin was still smooth and the products hadn't settled into any fine lines. As for the tint, I didn't even notice it, which imo is a good thing, because it left absolutely NO white cast, but it also didn't look orangy and streaky throughout the day, the way the other two sunscreens I mentioned above tend to look once my face oils begin to dissolve them. I have found my new holy grail. I am impressed. It does everything it says it does with an added bonus of acting like a primer. I am impressed.

This is an excellent mineral sunscreen with a light tint. I love the consistency, it’s very silky but not oily or sticky. It stays on all day and if I don’t need a lot of coverage I can use it in place of a foundation. It can be reapplied every two hours without becoming cakey or overly thick. I can apply makeup on top of it (such as blush or highlighter). It’s price is average for what it is

LOVE IT. I'm always on the lookout for a great mineral face sunscreen. I religiously used the Australian Gold Tinted Sunscreen, but there's been a shortage for the past 6 months or so and I couldn't find it anywhere, so out of desperation I tried this. Now Australian Gold is dead to me. This goes on feathery light and is totally matte. My skin feels dry and silky to the touch. It's truly miraculous. No white cast on my skin tone (Iight-to-medium skinned, but not fair). It doesn't transfer onto other fabrics or surfaces like almost all mineral sunscreens. My only complaint is that they don't sell it in an economical jumbo size because I'd love to use this as my all-body sunscreen.

This is the first time I used this tinted sunscreen, and I would buy it again. It is sheer and lightweight, with a mousse-like texture; it is easy to apply and blend in, and leaves the skin with a silky softness. I also like that it has a natural finish, rather than a glowy, dewy or shinny finish. The tint on this sunscreen is light, so it blends in well with my fair skin, (too many tinted sunscreens are too dark for me) I also like that this is a 100% physical sunscreen. I gave this 4, rather than 5 stars because it only comes in one shade, which has a yellow tone. I would prefer a selection of shades, or at least a neutral tone. This is definitely not a substitute for make-up since it is very sheer.

I switched to this after another brand became too dark (sunscreen did its job) for my pale complexion. I use it daily and it works well. My face does not get burnt or show any major signs of sun damage from my dogs daily walks in the bright Arizona sun. Doesn't sit heavy on face. It is a bit drying so I make sure to apply moisturizer shortly before using.

I love the way this sunscreen makes my face feel. It is a great base for your make up. Very smooth! It does not make your face white. It seems to protect from sun also. I used it yesterday at the beach and it lasted very well. I would definitely recommend this product.

I do like the feel of this sunscreen, but it feels like it just sits on top of my skin and I can move it around, it is hard to explain but even after 10 or 15 minutes, I will be able to rub my face and move the sunscreen around. It does the job of protecting from the sun, however, it makes my face look weird and naturally pale, but in a yellowish sort of way. It clashes a little with my cool undertones.

The texture is a little weird at first but you have to give it a chance! Pros are: light weight doesn't cause breakouts great light coverage (I use it like a foundation!) Matte look (photographs really well) Lasts all day Cons: kind of a weird texture but it evens out as you apply most one star reviews said it causes dry skin. I have not experienced this but if you tend to be dry, may not be for you.

Me encanta, si te gustan los protectores minerales este es muy bueno, tiene una textura como mousse que hay que trabajar en la piel pero deja un acabado muy bonito. No me ha causado irritación y mi piel es bastante sensible.

La textura es muy agradable, como el porefessional de Benefit pero sin la sensación siliconada. Me gusta que sea mineral y que no tenga fragancia, no irrita los ojos y soy bastante sensible. Se mantiene mate a lo largo del día y si usas la cantidad adecuada tarda un poco en asentarse pero deja un acabado casi empolvado muy natural, no blanco ni naranja. Creo que una piel grasa o muy grasa lo disfrutaría aunque igual recomendaría usar una crema hidratante antes, para una piel seca es demasiado resecante.

Deja la piel sin brillo y el tono se pierde al esparcir el producto por el rostro. Por favor hagan uno igual, pero con mayor FPS. 100% recomendado!
