Really easy to use

This is a must have for anyone that loves to smoke or grill. It takes all of the guess work out of cooking, you just leave it in the meat and take it out when it hits the right temp. If you're looking you're not cooking. BBQ afficianados will probably scoff at such a device, but I absolutely love the fact that I can sit on my couch watching football with the remote unit sitting by my side. I don't even have to get up to check the temp, it is shown on the mobile unit that sits next to me.

I love Traeger products but we have had such poor luck with this thermometer that I have to give it a poor review. It stopped working after about 2 months but we were not able to get a refund or any assistance since it was past 30 days so $70 down the drain. We purchased a replacement part but that too malfunctioned shortly after so another $10 down the drain. I am so frustrated and upset that we wasted so much money and still do not have a thermometer. I will not buy this again.

It transmits its signal deep into my house. It is exceedingly accurate as compared with my $100 restaurant quality instant read thermometer. It allows you to cook your meat to perfection. I have been using it for over a year with no problems

They work great

Bought 3 of these units. One for us and then purchased them for our son and son-in-law. Meat probes are not durable. They just quit functioning. Traeger replaced one. Now they say that they have quit selling them because of quality issues. They offered me the phone number of the original supplier. I ask them to call the supplier for me since I purchased them from Traeger. No luck with that. Traeger seemed to be quite ok with having taken my money for the product and leaving me to deal with the poor quality issue. This is not what I expected from Traeger. Next smoker will not be a Traeger! They have lost my confidence as a high quality supplier.

My pulled pork came out excellent. Remote thermometer worked perfectly. Have only used it once but was easy to set up and get the temps to read out.
