Women's Pink Canvas Split-Sole Ballet Shoes Slippers

These slippers are exactly what I wanted! I purchased these after having an allergic reaction to some leather slippers and they work great. Although the other slippers I had were real leather they had some glue on the inside that caused me to have contact dermatitis and my feet got blistered and itchy. Apparently it is a somewhat common allergy to the glue but I haven't had any problems with these slippers at all! They are soft on the inside and very breathable-my feet don't get super sweaty inside. They also feel less stiff than the leather slippers and require less time to break them in. The small bow string tightens the slipper around the top of the foot and the elastic bands keep it from slipping around your foot. The heel is a little lower on the back than my leather slippers so it feels a little strange at first but when you are dancing you don't even notice it. There is slightly less resistance on the floor with the canvas and I would definitely recommend getting your true size in these-not 2 sizes down like most slippers. Good quality especially for the price!

Good quality shoes with a good price. I wear 7 or 7.5 in street shoes and ordered 7.5 because of other another review saying they run a little small. Turns out that I shouldn't have sized up to the bigger end of my range. They're a little loose and I'll get a 7 next time. My feet have a low profile but the elastics worked great as is.

The color appears lighter than what is shown in the picture, I ordered the pink one but it looked like really light pink. It does fit comfortably and is nice to dance in; unfortunately, it also gets dirty easily. Because it is a canvas dance shoe acts differently from the typical leather ballet shoes, so I would not recommend getting these for your recital. These ballet slippers are softer than their leather counterparts and therefore do not need to be broken into, as a result, they are quite comfortable.

These canvas ballet shoes were chosen over the Capezio brand that I purchased as an alternate.[It was a fit issue, as the Capezio seemed baggier around the top edge of the shoe, despite cinching the tie as tightly as possible]. Pros: Good price Good fit Elastics already sewn in (YES!!!!) Pink canvas colour is also fine (it's not some horrible pepto-bismol pink, but it's not baby-pink either). Sizing was easy and accurate, but I would measure the larger foot along a ruler before making a selection. But I used their sizing guide and found it accurate. FREE returns (in case that sizing thing doesn't work out). Cons: Fit is always a risk when ordering shoes online, so it depends on the work you put into sizing before you order.

i bought this as a second pair of ballet shoes for at home when I'm not in ballet class. they'll do for what i need but i wouldn't necessarily buy this product again i was unaware when i purchased it that it was not leather but thats my fault for not paying close enough attention. the fit is as expected except at the toes its a bit odd and your feet kind of look frumpy but i don't care. their comfortable and good quality canvas and its very soft which surprised me. anyway i liked the price and the product is what your expecting when you order it but i wouldn't buy it again. (btw i order 7.5 thats my usual size and it fit as expected.)

I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 in women's shoes, and I bought a 7.5M in these slippers. They fit perfectly, and I'm currently using them for an adult ballet class. My complaints are very minor, and certainly wouldn't be enough to keep me from buying another pair in the future. First off, if your dance studio doesn't have incredibly clean floors, these will show dirt pretty quickly. If that bothers you, you might want to go with a black pair. I bought a separate black pair anyway, as I like my shoes to match my outfit as much as possible, even if it is just practice. The other issue is mostly for newbies. Watch out for the elastic strings that tighten the shoes. It's a good idea to tie a fat knot (two or three knots on top of one another) at each end of the elastic, as that will prevent the elastic from "sproinging" back into the fabric tunnel. If it goes in there, you won't have fun fishing it out. It's pretty easy to do that, too, as the elastic is pretty tight and you have to pull it firmly to tie it. It can slip out of your fingers before you know it.

I ordered three pairs, all different sizes. One is up a full size, one up a size and half, and another up 2 sizes. The size and half larger is actually smaller than the full size larger which makes this all so confusing. I hope they stretch. The 2 size larger is very comfortable. I need these to dance on hard tile floors, and needed a shoe that allows my toes and feet to feel almost bare for flexibility which these do very nicely. the full sole on the bottom gives me enough support from the tile floor that my knee and calf and back no longer bother me when I wear these shoes. I tried so many different style dance shoe to use on tile, and so pleased that these work so well for me. I can still wear the smaller sizes even tho they are snug. The elastic strap across help keep the shoe in place. There are ties to tighten the width but the ties are too long. I love the lightweight yet durable fabric.

These are decent for not very costly canvas "ballet slippers,"They are wider than expected. Somewhat strangely, I ordered 2 pairs of "Lady's Pink Canvas split-sole" ballet slippers," to see if there was any obvious difference- one was about $10 the other about $12.50 and I could find no obvious difference between the two. I can't even tell them apart until I found some lettering inside that indicates ?price? and was able to distinguish them on that basis. They are fine for hanging around the house, but I doubt anyone would be doing any heavy duty ballet in them.
