***PLEASE NOTE: This review is only for the more expensive version here with the all metal grinding mechanism and not the cheaper version that looks the same but has a ceramic grinder that’s also available on this page — hope this helps avoid potential confusion. My advice is to splurge on the metal grinder version. ***UPDATE 3/18/26*** Well, after almost two years of fairly heavy daily use the first flaw has emerged so thought I’d share. Yesterday the silver wrapping on the grinder part came loose making it hard to turn the grinder as it was slipping. I did a quick fix by adding some super glue around the seam at the top of the grinder and that’s done the trick at least for now. I’m leaving my 5-star rating because I remain thrilled with its overall performance and frankly would’ve ordered another one if this fix didn’t work, but so far it appears to be holding. 🤞 So still very happy but just wanted to share in case anyone else experiences this. ***UPDATE 8/18/25*** So I’ve now had this for over a year, and under pretty heavy daily use I’m happy to report it still works as well as the day I bought it. Great product, and it’s a pleasure to use every day. ***UPDATE 10/3/2024*** So, after almost four months of pretty heavy daily use I just wanted to report back that this grinder continues to work perfectly and shows every sign of lasting for years to come. I especially like the glass jar so I can see when I’m running low on black peppercorns, and even though it’s got a small form factor it holds a lot so I don’t have to refill it frequently despite using it multiple times daily. I’m super happy with this product all around and recommend it highly!!! ================================ Been using this for a few days now and am very happy so far. I’ve used a traditional wood pepper mill my whole life, but now it’s just me so I wanted something smaller and with a glass body so I can easily see when I need to add more peppercorns. I also wanted an all metal grinding mechanism (that this version has for an few dollars more) instead of ceramic, which doesn’t seem to hold up as well, and I definitely wanted no plastic parts involved in the actual grinding either — don’t need any more microplastics in my diet thank you. This one seemed to check all the boxes, and so far it’s been great. Initially it was set to a more fine, powdery grind, but it was super easy to adjust to a more course grind that I prefer and it’s perfect. Overall it seems well built and is very easy to use, and as long as this holds up it’s a definite keeper. I’ll report back if any future mishaps, but as of now I’d recommend this very highly!

I bought this as a replacement to one I had. I really like the product, works well and looks nice as well. The grinder is easily adjustable. Nice size for my counter and usage. Nice part was that I was able to get it next day.

Bought first one for pepper. I use Tellicherry peppercorns which are a bit more pungent and slightly larger than what is generally sold. I had two old grinders and never got the full taste/flavor of the tellicherry until I put them in this grinder and because of that find myself using less pepper. So I bought a second for my Mediterranean Sea salt which comes from the coast of Sicily. These are easy to use, good looking for the table and pantry. The one minor issue is in the adjustment of grind size. It could be marked better and have the ability to be slightly courser than it's coursest. But not really necessary especially for the pepper. I would recommend and buy again.

I bought this grinder to use for salt, and it does a nice job grinding evenly. It looks attractive, feels well made, and has worked reliably. My only complaint is the part in the middle that you turn to grind. It’s uncomfortable to grip and can be difficult to turn, so I usually leave the cap on while using it because it’s easier on my hands. If the turning mechanism were more comfortable and easier to use, I would have given it 5 stars. Overall, it’s still a good grinder and does the job well.

Like you very much, does not corrode with the salt. It’s a little difficult with a sticker, more humid salt, but still works great, and no corrosion. It’s a nice salt grinder.

This is my 3rd one. I have one with Celtic Salt, one with Himalayan Salt and one with Mineral Salt. It is pretty and functional.

This Ebaco Professional Pepper Grinder works really well. You can adjust how fine you want your salt or pepper to be. So others say the blade will rust. I will have to see how that works out to be. I have not had any issues myself.

I dropped my previous pepper grinder and was hoping to replace it with a similar-looking one to match my salt grinder. The good reviews on this one let me down - the quality between the two was night and day. This has a very thin lid, which doesn’t necessarily affect performance but definitely feels cheap, could easily be dented, and wasn’t a good first impression. The second I started twisting the grinder I knew this wasn’t going to last long - the outside metal pieces (I think they’re metal?) are so thin they feel like plastic, destined to be dented or slip around, especially if you have a lot of people using it. I’d say it’s worth spending just a little more for quality in this case, especially if it will see heavy use. 3 stars because I assume it does the job just fine but never tested that.

Absolute scam product! After just a few weeks the burr became rusty. God knows how much rust we have ingested before we realized this. This seller should be banned from Amazon.
