Very Soft ...

Initial use after first wash and dry - worst drying towel I have used in decades. Left my hair wet, and a sheen of water on my whole body. The towel seemed to absorb some water, but did not dry the skin or hair. I'll wash and dry the towels once more to insure there is not some residual coating from manufacture. But my initial impression is these 100 percent cotton towels perform more like 100 percent polyester. Having used cotton towels for decades I can easily say these are the worst I have ever used.Update: After several wash and dry cycles through the laundry the towels dry a bit better. Instead of leaving a sheen of water on my body, they just leave my body damp. Still not good drying towels, but acceptable. They always have a cool to the touch feeling, compared to other cotton towels. I really doubt that these towels are 100% cotton. So, from 2 stars to 2.5 (rounded up to 3).

These are very good quality for the price. I have two white ones in my guestroom bathroom and everyone loves them.

Exactly what I expected. Not the most plush that I've ever experienced, but I didn't expect that for the price. However, they did exceed my expectations in thickness, softness and absorbency. They didn't shed or ravel upon receipt or following initial wash. I remain very happy with these towels following several uses & washings, and, when needed, will order more.

and much bigger than I expected.

I moved to a new apartment and was looking for towels that were soft AND absorbent. I bought three different kinds of “super absorbent” cotton towels. Every time I finished with a shower my body would be covered in lint and cotton pills. These towels solve both of my needs. Soft cotton, absorbent, and no pills. These may not compare to expensive Egyptian and Turkish towels, but for the money they are an excellent value.

This was a perfect match for my main bathroom of lavender and purple ensemble. It's thick and absorbent when stepping out of shower. Highly recommend.
