Worked perfectly for non-professional DIYer
I was hesitant to buy these because they are so cheap, but for a single project didn't feel the need to purchase $70+ name brand ones. Worked perfectly for my mini split install. I pressure tested to 475 psi, then pulled a vacuum. This tool successfully removed and reinstalled the valve stem, as well as held both pressure and vacuum for an extended duration test. Lower quality control means they might make a few with defects, but they allow returns. I am keeping these for any future needs and would not be concerned using them several more times. If I was a professional using them daily or multiply times per week/month, I would invest in higher quality but for the DIYer only needing them a few times, you can't beat the price.

Works as good as APPION
If you don't want to spend $80 for a tool that you may use one time, then this is your guy. I bought the good one first. It was a great tool and well made, however didn't use it at all. I ended up refilling my mini split removing the core and using this method all for $20.

Not the quality of the Apion, but for one or two uses, worth the money
I accidentally ordered the wrong size Apion core removal tool and it was going to take longer than I wanted to get the correct one, so I took a chance on this one. It seems to be assembled from several pieces and you can feel the roughness of the transitions when withdrawing and replacing the schrader valve. That being said, i was able to vacuum down my mini split lines to 170 microns once I replaced the defective vaccuum pump I bought from Amazon. A tip: I was unable to replaced the valve under vacuum. when I put the plunger cap back on and opened the valve, I quickly lost some of my vacuum. Once I pumped back down, I releaesed the refrigerant, then put on the plunger cap, opened the valve and quickly screwed the valve back in, withdrew the plunger and closed the valve again. Once closed, I unscrewed the plunger cap, and slowly opened the valve to ensure that the valve was not leaking, then removed the tool. All good!

Great for the money.
I have used them a few times already they work good seal good. They seam like they move too easily but that is because of the ordinary rings.

Worked as intended
Removed and reinstalled several valve cores. Tool worked as intended with no leaks, etc. Did have one valve core that did not ride back up with the removal stem but pressure moved it up once I noticed. Likely not as robust as the pro $$ tools, but worked fine for my occasional usage.

Great valve removal tool
Yesterday tested first time that tool. It kept deep vacuum great and I was gonna buy one more today, but surprised to see the item isn't available for sale.

Works for mini split.
Used it to remove the Schrader valve on a Pioneer mini split. Fits perfectly.Only problem is when installing the valve again with pressure in the system the rod does not seal and will leak air out the end cap as your installing the Schrader valve.Edit.After adding some compressor oil it seams to have sealed up and is holding pressure.

Well made, solid.
Sadly I purchased this in error as I need to remove the schrader valve in my Trucks AC. This is for home AC. I was very satisfied how quickly it arrived to my home. But I quickly learned I had the wrong tool. It was also very easy to return, no hassle.
