Pro-Lift C-2800 Grey Creeper Seat and Stool Combo - 300 lb. Capacity

Great for the price, seat has a nice cushion, use as a step stool is very good (sturdy, no wobble and I am 260lbs) and one of the four legs is adjustable to ensure all legs are on the surface. Amazon description states 4 casters, but there are five so it is also very stable as a seat. One screw was poorly cast (Phillips head was just barely present so it was impossible to tighten with a screw driver). Instructions don’t state to leave all frame bolts/screws loose until it is fully assembled, but I needed the flexibility to line up all the holes.

I work at an auto bodyshop and use this regularly to work on cars, the wheels work and feel solid, the stand is strong and sturdy, overall makes my job easier and a solid reliable part of the shop!

Assembly was a little challenging with how the seat goes on. The holes didn't line up easily and I had to have a second person give me a hand attaching the last screw. Other than that it was pretty straight forward and easy. I tried it out last weekend when I washed the car and made washing the lower half of the car and the wheels super easy.

I actually keep this in my kitchen. I love that I can stand on it to get items from tall places in my kitchen. However I can also use it to sit on and glide across my floors inside and outside to complete projects that may require excessive bending and/or working in low areas. I even use this chair to sit on when I cut my dog’s nails, brush his teeth and brush his coat. I can roll around and support him when he moves. I can even roll to catch him if he runs in the corner trying to escape my grooming shenanigans. My work is not really interrupted because my grooming items with me under the stool. It’s less stressful for me and him. Now he doesn’t mind as much doesn’t really run and I’m not really stressed out if he does need to move around because I can roll right to him. Standard stools do not have that option. This bench is not the lightest and may not be suitable if you have to carry it around or didn’t need wheels to complete tasks. However if you have an old house that requires a lot of work or if you have projects that require bending, reaching, or sitting in a low position for periods of time you would generally be happy with this rolling chair stool. This is my second one . The first one I bought about 15 years ago. I wore that one out and got really depressed because I couldn’t find another one similar to it without paying a hefty price plus the didn’t have the bottom “storage” area that I like to use as I roll around putting in tile, painting low spaces, planting outside or working in the driveway, or even grooming my dog. Just make sure that you check the nuts and bolts every now and then to make sure they are tight. I stopped doing that over the years and that’s how one of my wheels eventually broke off.

Had a difficult time assembling because of a horribly misplaced weld. After an un-fun battle, I bent it to bolt together. I really don't like working this hard to put something together. This company could employ better quality control. Once completed it looks great and does the job . Only time will tell if the casters hold up. I like the dual purpose of this and that was the reason for my choosing it. I can sit low on my sports car and get on the top of my SUV by simply flipping it. I still believe (even after the fight) it's easily worth the price paid.

This creeper/step ladder was great for the time that it was in one piece. It has been made of quality materials but, much like the previous one I owned of similar design (that worked as both a rolling stool and step ladder), it eventually came apart - losing pieces that make putting it safely back together impossible. I don’t know if it’s the design or possibly the quality of the parts or if they require some kind of regular upkeep I am unfamiliar with (the screws or bolts rather that came unscrewed were those that lay beneath the fixture and so were not exposed to allow for regular tightening (I’d have had to disassemble to tighten them and surely this should be avoidable in some fashion). As much as I liked this tool when it was in good working order - everyone at work constantly borrowing it if I wasn’t using it myself - I can’t bring myself to buy yet another replacement knowing it will do the exact same as the two that came before. Do not recommend

easy to assemble and very useful, strong and safe

I have this creeper/seat/stool for 3 weeks now. It’s the best stool/seat I’ve purchased so far! Comfortable seat, strong steady step stool! Couldn’t ask for a better combination. I use this everyday at work. So far I’m very happy with it and highly recommend getting if you’re a lazy mechanic like me. I know a lot of people said the wheels tend to break off. If it does, it still served it’s purpose. Nothing lasts forever.

So far the item has been good for me. It has 1 adjustable foot so it can set stable in slightly uneven surface. The step is sturdy, the seat is okay, but better foam would make it comfortable. Having said that, I'd recommend this item to a friend.

great to use in the garage when working on the car. very sturdy, im a heavy guy and love how solid it is. also the little tray is useful for tools.

I bought this to help with tire swaps and it has been excellent. The size of the tray is good for the breaker bar, lug nuts and torque wrench. It slides well and it's comfortable to sit on. The only thing I wish was that the bottom tray was metal instead of plastic like the step stool function , but that is a minor concern and I'm sure I can figure out how to convert or reinforce the tray on my own. I consider this creeper very good value.

I'm an ironworker and I build structural beams for buildings like hospitals and warehouses. I bought this chair so I don't have to lean over the beams or climb on top of them. It has served its purpose but about 3 weeks after receiving it the wheels with caps on the inside of the frame fell off and I actually had to weld them back on because you can't get to the bolt piece on the inside 😒. Update: the entire thing has fallen apart. It's less than 6 months old. Do not buy
