Grey Pneumatic (CH117-7) 7" Length 1" Diameter Hammer

None of my air hammers that I've purchased in the past came with this type of air hammer attachment, but as a mechanic I always need it. I use it mainly for driving out stuck bolts, using a hammer on the bolts usually mushrooms the end and causes issues, but this blunt end hammer drives bolts out quickly and with minimal damage. It gets used mostly for driving out strut to knuckle bolts that have splines on the bolt end. I've also used it at the same time as my 2135TiMax to get out stuck bolts. The air hammer used on the part it's stuck in to shock the part at the same time as I'm hammering on it with the impact gun, hopefully breaking it loose. It has held up just fine with my fairly low use so far on my Ingersoll Rand 118max air hammer.

Works well, very hard head. Great for extended reach situations. The bit fits perfectly in 0.401 impact guns, however, the coating on the shank, on the outside of the gun fits very tight on the retaining spring of the gun. This is a minor problem that goes away once the bit us used a couple of times.

This is a great addition to the air chisel bit set. It really should be standard with the set, but it seems like these are sort of hard to find as they are not available in any stores (that I could find). Anyways, this thing works great and I wish I had had it earlier. I used it to help remove a control arm bushing. This is a must have for anyone that has an air chisel.

Works great on solid rivets!I bought this to help me replace dozens of leaking solid rivets on an aluminum boat. Used with an air chisel this bit made the replacement so easy, literally took 5 seconds per rivet and can be done with one person (long as you can reach both sides). This will save you hours and they come out perfect.

This hammer is made super strong, and does a great job in delivering the blows from the pneumatic hammer to the object that your hammering.

This tool is awesome! Got it for to help knock out ball-joint on a 2011 f350 (track arm mounting ball joint on the front axle). There was no room to swing hammer so got this and it worked to push ball joint up and out its bracket. Could have used ball joint remover but this was faster to use for removal. Good fast shipping too.
