I recently purchased a set of LED strip lights from Amazon, and I am beyond impressed with their quality and performance. From the moment I received the package, I could tell that the product was well-made and carefully packaged. Installing the strip lights was a breeze, and the adhesive backing made it easy to stick them wherever I wanted. The remote control is intuitive and easy to use, allowing me to switch between different colors, adjust the brightness, and even set different modes like flash and fade. But what really sets these strip lights apart is their vibrant and dynamic colors. The LEDs are bright and vivid, creating a stunning and immersive lighting experience in any room. Whether I'm hosting a party, relaxing at home, or working late at night, these strip lights provide the perfect ambiance. Overall, I would highly recommend these LED strip lights to anyone looking to add a touch of color and atmosphere to their home or office. They are high-quality, easy to use, and truly elevate any space they're in.

Nothing is perfect, right? The best way to judge a product and its Seller is by what happens when things don't go as expected. From experience, Govee stands by its products when the order isn't perfect. I'll look for a reason to buy from Govee again. I first reviewed this product (64 feet of RGB LEDs) about a week after we installed them, and I gave 5 stars in every category except the Overall Rating, which I gave a 1 Star Rating. Sets of LEDs were failing each day (it was up to 12 groups of 5 lights by the time we received the replacements), and our family was upset that our third try to put up LEDs had failed. My expectations were low; other manufacturers didn't respond to our e-mails, and I unfairly let the past direct my expectations for Govee. I emailed Govee late one night, and by the time I woke up, I had a cordial response from them. We went through a couple of emails verifying everything and sending them pictures of the defective lights up on the wall, a process that went similarly quick. A replacement set was sent, no arguments, no dickering over shipping costs, and no games. All of their claims in the description are spot on. These lights stick to the wall (thank you 3M). There are no color variations as the LEDs get further from the power source. The remote and receiver are truly responsive (no pushing the buttons harder and harder until your thumb hurts), no removing and reinstalling the battery, and none of the age-old universal fix, tap it (knock it) against a hard surface until it responds. The wall mount controls are great and are used to turn on and adjust them 90% of the time. The cords are long enough that you don't need to tape an extension cord to the wall to reach the plug. It's got great features, and these are great LEDs. We will buy more.

Finally took these lights down after 6 years and never had an issue when I had them. They stuck so good though it ripped the paint off with them so not renter friendly! The lights never went out or got dimmer, my only issue was I did loose my controller at some point but overall they were great lights and a fun way to spice up a room!

Product is very quick and easy to install (assuming you can reach everywhere in the room). Make sure you use the included cleaning swabs as you probably don't realize how dusty the upper reaches of your walls can get. I was concerned that it might look "ugly" when the lights are off since it has a somewhat industrial look, but it is small enough to be unobtrusive. One thing I didn't see called out explicitly is that the strands can be cut to length -- it's not immediately apparent where the safe places on the strand are to cut, so practice on the very end until you figure it out. (Hard to explain, it has to do with how the LEDs are segmented together on the strand.) Cutting from the end will not affect the rest of the strand, so order longer than you need and you can get an almost perfect fit to the room. LEDs are very bright and easy to control, although the instruction manual is a bit complicated regarding the DIY color (custom blend). I like the option to control either from the unit itself or using the remote. Customer support is great. We had one segment of LEDs on one of the strands that was partially non-functional; I contacted Govee and they sent a replacement strand within a few days. Very happy with the service. Only thing I don't like are the included support clips. I installed as suggested at the corners, but the strand doesn't actually seem to use or need them to be there. The adhesive on the clips is unnecessarily strong; I removed one and it pulled off not only the underlying paint but also the top paper layer of the drywall with it. Overall we are very happy with the purchase.

After researching and reading many LED Light Strip descriptions/reviews here on Amazon, I finally decided to try these Govee ones. I'm very glad I did as they have been excellent so far. There are many levels of brightness and tons of colors to switch between. The adhesive on the back is very strong and doesn't show any signs of weakening. The remote works great and responds almost perfectly. Although sometimes it won't drop to the darkest setting using the remote (easy to fix by just using the wall switch). Also worth noting, Govee's customer service is absolutely amazing! After about one month, 1 LED burnt out and it gradually spread to 5 (which is one section). It's only noticeable on certain colors. Like, if I switch it to white light, they will show up yellow. Or, if I switch to blue, they don't light up at all. This only happened on one of the strips (this set comes with two strips). When I contacted Govee about the issue, they responded promptly and sent out a replacement strip right away, free of charge. They even contacted me multiple times to see if everything was taken care of. Decided I'll still keep up the defective strip for now but it's nice having the replacement strip as an option. I would recommend this brand to anyone looking for some solid LED Light Strips. Will update this review every couple months.

I had to film the video in the daylight so if the colors don’t look super vibrant and that is why. But overall this is definitely a really good quality buy. if you don’t have LEDs in your room you’re honestly missing out! Govi did such a good job on these. I don’t care what the bad reviews say they are awesome! However… Make sure that you’re OK with a lot of cord hanging down. Currently I am hiding it with a shelf but I am going to get a cord cover for sure. Also remember that the sensor is right by the little white box so you can’t cover it up with anything… Unfortunately that includes shelves. I didn’t realize this and I’m not sure why looking back I didn’t think of it. But I thought I’d mention it in the reviews so that you can be ready for this buy. The adhesion was actually super great. But make sure there’s no dust or debris under where you’re sticking it. If it’s an old painted wall it might be a good idea to just dust it off with an old rag around the ceiling borders to maximize adhesion. But since my wall was newly painted there have been no problems! I’m actually so happy I bought these and they definitely complement my room and give it The adhesion was actually super great. I bought two of these products. I opened them out from the box and plugged them in into the power source and saw that the colors were corresponding to the remote color buttons just fine. However, once I set my LED's light's up the color began to malfunction. One strip of the color would be red and the second strip would be blue, some of the buttons on the remote wouldn't even correspond to the right colors. It's possible I've received a defective strip. Also the adhesion on the strip isn't strong either! I set them up and saw that the cable would be pulling on the strip til it falls off despite cleansing the walls with rubbing alcohol, they should've added a much stronger adhesion that can withstand the weight of the cable. I also learned that if you buy two boxes of this it won't sync to a single remote, so I highly recommend buying a smart LED instead of the remote version. I'll probably return this product and hopefully get a refund since it didn't meet the standards as advertised. On a positive note the brightness of this product is great! Considering that this brand is pretty popular and many YouTubers have advertised this brand I'm assuming they have great customer service, therefore i'll be reaching out to the their support and service team on this issue, I'll keep y'all updated. UPDATE 7/30/20 Govee offered a replacement as compensation for my defective set, however, I rejected that offer and requested for a full refund instead since I found a better deal this brand offers. They are planning to fulfill my refund. I highly recommend this company since they have one of the best customer services out there and comes with a 12 month warranty for every product you buy from this company!

Got this on a daily deal. Boyfriend insisted we get LED strip lights and I thought the idea sounded lame as hell. Bought them to appease him and now I’m flipping obsessed. Try them if your on the fence, these are beyond fun, and they really make a statement. Great for the price and length. I tried to use 3M light clips, don’t waste your time buying those for this. I installed directly with the sticker back to wood trim and it worked like a charm. Don’t overthink these, a child could figure this out. see video for how I was able to remove (after being up for weeks) and reposition without damage. Not sure if I would do that on painting sheet rock, maybe if you pull slow. Video also shows how I did a 90 degree angle really quick (you’ll want to take more time and care then my sloppy example). Make sure the receiver lands somewhere you can point the remote at (it’s not very sensitive, so don’t place behind anything or you will block the signal.) sometimes it also seems like remote is glitching, just turn the power off and back on to reset. Also if you are like me, a creative type or if you suffer from depression or anxiety like I do, these are nice because you can instantly change the mood with color. I also have my favorites programmed in which is pretty easy.
