Amazon Has Finding Wide Width Shoes Easy!
I saved $50.00 for the exact same pair of New Balance shoes. I absolutely have to wear wide width walking shoes, or my pinkie toes get squished. The last several years the best deal I could find was at Kohls, the past 2 years I've gone to a local shoe store which had a great selection. Unfortunanately Peltz is out of my price range, but they have wide widths. So in December I went to Peltz and paid $109.00 for the shoe shown here. Since I've been so pleased with my Amazon purchases, I decided to see if I could find the same shoe. The reason being even though I have not worn out my current pair. OMG! I was so ecstatic when I saw the exact same pair for $60.00 on Amazon. And since it's Amazonprime FREE SHIPPING! Also due to my extremely tight budget, I didn't have to take 2 buses to get to the mall. That saved both money and time. I'm very happy that I got exactly what I thought I was ordering. I like the gray color, beacause it hides the dirt from outdoor walking, and the accent color is pretty. So now I am using my new pair just for the gym.

OUCH !!
I walk approx 2 to 3 miles a day and I have been searching for a good walking shoe to replace my NB 846 which was discontinued...why do they do that ? I have a Morton's neuroma on my right foot as well as plantar's fasciitis, which was under control. I have tried so many shoe's that I've lost count, but I was hoping these would be the answer. As soon as I put them on I noticed the outer heel area felt tight and not much cushioning. I decided to wear them around the house for a little bit but by the time I took them off my feet were hurting so bad, and my plantar's fasciitis was acting up.I'm afraid they have to go back and I will continue searching for that almost perfect walking shoe. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

Normally, I would say you can't go wrong with New Balance, however, these shoes would prove me wrong. Avoid these shoes.
I love New Balance shoes. They are the only shoes that fit my wide, short feet comfortably. I have exclusively bought New Balance for years. This is the first time I have been completely disappointed by a pair of New Balance. The first time I wore them, I thought they were great. The fit was exactly as I expected and they were comfortable, as I have come to expect from New Balance. The second time I put them on, I noticed the rubber on the bottom was coming off. When I walked, it would scrape the ground. Of course, since I had worn them, I could not return them. I bought super glue and glued them back together. By the next week, the other shoe started coming apart. I have never experienced that problem before with any shoes and never expected to have to super glue my brand new shoes.

Got flat feet and plantar fasciitis? You need these shoes.
Very happy with the WW1765 shoes. I have very flat feet and had been suffering from plantar fasciitis for almost a year. I'd tried numerous (expensive) insoles and these were the last shoes I tried -- next step was going to be professional orthotics, which I wasn't excited about. These reversed my PF in a matter of days. It is now a year later and I've got four pairs in various colors in rotation. These shoes saved my feet. The (second) best part is they aren't your typical ugly supportive shoe. They are really cute, and I've gotten lots of compliments on them. I'm also pretty overweight, and these shoes hold up and I don't find I need to replace them as often as I have other brands. I am on my feet most of the day at my job. Highly recommend!

Satisfactory, a little overpriced
This was the most I've ever spent on a walking shoe, so I sort of expected my feet to feel amazingly comfortable when I slipped them on for the first time, and I was disappointed, but not for long. I ordered mine in a wide and in my usual size 8.5. They seemed somewhat snug at first but I was reluctant to send them right back, so I just hopped on the treadmill to give them a shot and I'm glad I did. My feet felt great all over for the whole 45 minute walk, and each time since (about 7 times). I'd been having issues with blisters on the heel of one foot and pinkie toe of the other, along with pain in my shins, thankfully none of those are issues any longer. They provide good support and are very comfortable to walk in and even a little jogging. The only downside is that although they are lightweight they feel kind of large and clunky and stiff to me. I'm too aware of them when I'm walking anywhere but the treadmill. But then again, I've never been one to enjoy normal shoes. I'm a flip-flops and flats girl. All in all though, I'm pretty satisfied, But I wouldn't pay the same price for these shoes again. Whenever I need shoes again I'll probably look elsewhere unless they've dropped in price a bit.

So far so good!
I am really enjoying my new pair of New Balance walking shoes! I was a little hesitant when I first pulled them out of the box. They are a bit lighter then my older pair of New Balance shoes...but my older pair were New Balance All Terrain shoes. They also looked a little more narrow then my older pair but as soon as I put them on they pretty much fit like a glove. After I put them on I walked over to my old pair of New Balance shoes and compared them and they are pretty much the same size-wise. I did not notice the soles being too thin. They provide me with plenty of cushion and much needed arch support. The only thing that kind of irked me about ordering these shoes is Amazon's shady price changing. When I put the pair of shoes in my cart they were marked $83-89. A day later when I came back to purchase them, Amazon had bumped the price up to $101....with tax making them $110. Two days after I received my shoes in the mail out of curiosity I came back to Amazon and checked the price. They were again back to costing $83. So irritating. Lesson learned.

Helped my feet at work
I use these as shoes for my job as a nurse at the hospital. I work full time and 12 hour shifts. These are the most comfortable shoes I have yet to own. I prefer sneakers over the clog-like shoe that most have as I have to often run to my patient's room to prevent falls or if an alarm is sounding. My feet are still sore after a shift, I have yet to find a shoe that prevents this after working three straight nights of a 12-hour shift, but these are very comfortable throughout the night and think just being on my feet for so long is what is causing the aching. I have higher arches as well and these help with that. I developed a hole in the mesh-like fabric because I lift my toes when I walk but other than that they have lasted one year for me.
