VViViD Matte Transparent Masking Stencil Vinyl 12" Roll (12" x 20ft)

I have used this stencil for a few wood projects, and for the most part it works great. As other reviews stated, it does bubble up when applying to your sticky mat for your machine to cut. I just patiently scraped the bubbles, and air pockets flat. If you are not a vinyl user you will find this very frustrating. Also, it did not stick to one of the wood projects I did, I had to push it back down and quickly go over it with paint before the stencil popped back up. So consider the type of surface you apply this stencil to. Be sure to apply a small layer of paint at a time, or it will seep through - and you wont get perfect lines. I do recommend this item, the value is great - just be sure you know how to use vinyl before using.

Like the previous reviews have said, it came with air bubbles due to being rolled up and then flattened quickly. Since this wasn't my first rodeo I calmly took my squeegee and worked the bubbles out. After that it worked wonderfully in my Cameo. The use for which this was intended is to paint RC aircraft surfaces. Most standard stencil material has too high of a tack and peel the dope off of the surface when removed. My customer told me that this material peeled cleanly and did not allow any seepage under the vinyl. I only give 4 stars because I had to spend time working the bubbles out.

This product is great it was a little rough to work with but once you add a little heat to it everything is perfect it almost fits like a real tight glove once the heat is applied to it. You must work fast though cuz it cools off extremely quick. I used it for my detail work on my ZX9r. Make sure you surface is extremely clean one little dust particle and he will raise up and show when you spray you'll get overspray under it.

I had such high hopes, but I’m disappointed. When reading the description I was so thrilled about this product and was excited to use it. Today I cut out a stencil and the first couple of inches the foil was crunches on the edge so I had to cut that off. I cut out the stencil and when I went to weed I had a really, really had time seeing where the cuts were. After putting the transfer tape over it, I couldn’t even see my design anymore to set it straight. Clear, with a touch of tint would be awesome.

This item offers great transparency without a lot of translucency. The material is prone to ripping while applying. The adhesive on the back of the material seems very strong, but can be difficult to work with. I tried to matte a picture frame with this, but there were many air bubbles- In this case, air bubbles are unacceptable due to the outward nature of the frame.

Terrible product. As all vinyl orders do it came rolled up, but this product is so cheaply made that it was barely stuck to the backing paper and full of air pockets making it absolutely useless to attempt to use in any vinyl cutting machine.If I could give 0 stars I would. Do yourself a favor and pass on this one.

I was able to successfully cut my pattern on my Circut cutter. The adhesive backing works well to hold the mask on the workpiece but I wish the mask was thicker so it won't wrinkle so easy.

I used this material to recreate the Johnson Logo on my outboard motor. I traced the old letters prior to sanding and made a paper stencil to glue to the masking stencil. Worked great. Leaves a clean edge.

I was disappointed bc you DO NOT get the amount that in the picture. I thought I was getting a big roll like the one in the pic it’s not even a quarter.

L'adhérence est parfaite, juste assez pour bien sceller la surface et facile à enlever.

Haven’t tried it yet but seems to be something I will definitely buy again
