I stopped playing COD after moder warfare 2...didn't like the fact that Activision wanted $60 a year for a game that seemed dlc every year.I got interested in this game with great hopes....for the most part it delivered on a new game experience. Boosting along with pick 13 seems to give you options. ..play with attachments or play for kill streaks...seems balanced. Now for the reason why this is a 3 star review. The issue is lag...on day zero and day 1 I had no problems at all with lag . Now that everyone is playing the game my lag in the game is killing my joy for the game. Every time I tab the team window I can see my connection fluctuate from 4 bars to 1 red bar constantly through the game. ..getting killed around corners and being killed with one shot across the map from someone using an SMG. Lag compensation is a serious issue that is holding this back. Activision could better serve it's loyal customers by just using dedicated servers to fix this lag issue. I stopped playing the game in hopes they fix this issue soon...but I won't hold my breath.

The game is better than you think.
This is just so much better than COD Ghost. Everyone needs to stop comparing the two and let the other one go. This game has a few small bugs but just like all the other games that are made for console then reprogrammed for PC, an update will eventually and will hopefully fix most of the problems.Even with the PC loading slow, and the gaming having to start a level over every time you change a video setting, this game is still fun to play and action packed. The campaign is like watching a movie, I almost want to get a tub of popcorn every time I load it up. The story is simple and moves fast and the gun play is right back to where it should be. Ghost on PC had sooo many problems and got worse and worse with every update. This new game with its flaws is still great.I also love the variety of multiplayer modes and the customization of your soldier. The theme looks great and the images are just impressive.Overall, this is a totally different game and packs a punch. Console or PC gamers should have no problem enjoying this game unless they find themselves too good for Call of Duty. Which in that case, go back and playing Battlefield 4 which has it's own set of problems as well.

Remember "Counter Strike" the 15 year old game? Well, much hasn't changed...I think most players are smart, but some publishers are bold enough to discount this fact and publish squeals that are not only disappointing, but insulting. Players can tell that these game publishers are in tremendous pressure to put new products on the shelves each year.HERE IS A SHORT LIST OF CLUES SHOWING THIS PRODUCT WAS RUSHED:1: Horrible map design: A: Tiny Maps: Square footage per player is very small. Most maps are simply unplayable some game mode. Spawning is also a challenge. B: Invisible Ceiling/Walls: The most annoying thing: the game introduced jump packs, but there are in visible ceiling and walls everywhere. Why give your players the ability to jump 30 feet, present to them roof tops and balconies that could be 3 feet away, but put up an invisible wall that you can't get to? C: A wall will block you to where you want to go to: But you will die from a 10 foot fall in some maps.2: Lack of continuity: Simple items such as cones, chars, windows, little rocks even plants becomes an obstacle. Players shouldn't have to jump over these objects; they should be seamless and move as physics dictate. When you see a cone, and run at it, the cone should move; not act like a solid wall and get you stuck and killed. On the other hand, what appears to be as steps, are not; In certain maps, players would have to hit jump, for each and every step. This review applies to the multiplier mode, the game mode most played.OVERALL: I didn't want to bring up Titan Fall, but I have to. Compared to Titan Fall's open map approach and fluid game play, this game is a setback, it reminds me of "Counter Strike" the original, of 15 years ago. Walls, some water, trees, fabrics, plants, tables, cars, cones, pebbles, grass...etc... all have the same physical property: 10 ton iron wall.

Fun at first... now a hackers paradise...
This game started off much better than Ghost for me (I have a fairly new machine and ghost was unplayable for a month or two). The first week I took vacation from work and play ALOT!! Monday through most of Friday were fun.As the week went on the hackers started getting worse and worse. Then on Friday evening every other lobby I was placed in (there are no dedicated servers just pvp) was an xp hacked lobby. While Activision has nothing in place to stop hackers, they are more than willing to reset your stats. If you get into a hacked lobby (which you may not know right away) and make the 'First Blood' kill as I like to do... (and get some huge bonus like 65000 points) its too late.... you will be reset. Now every game I join I have to look at the scrore first, or make sure someone else gets the first blood so I can check the score....I also like to run with all the 'camo' perks to keep me off the radar: low profile, cold-blooded, blind-eye, etc. as well as a silencer on my gun. Yet I will spawn, carefully move to a location and have someone who couldn't have known I was there suddenly change direction, jump 20 feet in the air while turning 180 degrees and head shot me. The best COD game when it came out was BO2 because they had dedicated servers on their end so there was much less hacking. I bought a copy of AW for myself and my two teens..... big mistake.
