Diamine Red dragon
Dragons blood is the coolest ink. It writes well in all my pens.

Favorite Colored Ink
The Diamine Red Dragon Ink is blood red, and it looks like blood if it gets on your hands or when you clean the ink with a paper towels. I like this ink for everyday writing, because it is more readable than lighter colors of red. The Diamine Ink works well in all of the fountain pens that I own. I will definitely buy again.

The color comes off as dried blood color (brownish) on my Moleskine squared paper
Mind you, the Moleskine paper is a little off-white, almost might tan or tea-colored so I should have known. But I also checked it on bright white paper from Rhodia and Clairefontaine and it's pretty brown/dark read/dried blood as well. But I like it. I am happy with it. And it's nice to write with as opposed to use it as I had hoped, with was to highlight and edit and correct stuff.

I love this ink
I do a lot of medieval-style pen work, and I find this Diamine Red Dragon to be a gorgeous color for that application. It is not a bright or gaudy red, but rather a dark, rich red. But the thin I like best about II,is that it doesn’t write too wet, and therefore is quite resistant to feathering. My work requires nice clean strokes, and so far this ink gives me that. I was using Monteverdi Ruby for my reds, but it was quite runny and my text and decorative elements were not sharp due to the feathering. I was worried about the darker red color, but I find that I like it more than any other red I’ve used. I know that “color preference” is a subjective and personal criteria, but for me, this ink is really attractive for my applications.

very nice ink & color
the main reason i got this ink was the color and i am happy to say the red does not disappoint. the ink writes well on paper, and on my moleskine paper there's so little bleeding you have to hold it up to a light to really see it.the only downside is that it takes a second longer than i'd like to dry but since thats to be expected with ink anyway i don't mind, especially since it was so hard to find a color so close to what i wanted.i will also add a small warning for the red dragon color, if you get a large blotch somewhere or spill any it looks similar to blood, if you're very easily affected by the sight of blood either skip this or be very careful.

Beautiful Ink
This ink is beautiful. It's so warm and it flows so well I just keep writing and doodling. I used my dragon pen (perfectly) for this Red Dragon Ink. Outstanding.
