This CURT 55243 harness worked perfectly on my 2000 Ford Excursion V10 4x4 with factory tow package. Bolts for the 7 blade connector lined up perfectly with factory receiver hitch holes. Harness was about 3 inches longer which was not an issue. I took a long look at the connector pictures and wire locations prior to purchase. Very please and was completely plug and play on the Excursion.

Easy to install -- price is very high
This harness is quite easily installed and made for a 5 minute replacement of the old factory harness that had some corrosion problems. However, not convinced that the easy of installation justifies the very high price. The aftermarket harnesses are likely just as good.

Fits Great and Works Great
I was working on a friends truck, he had bought a used F-250 that had a 4 pin to a six pin to a seven blade adapter. When he hooded up his trailer the brakes would lock up. Buying this ford factory plug to a seven pin adapter fixed all his issues. If your truck has a rigged up hillbilly trailer harness just go ahead and replace it with this product and quit chasing your tail. your life will be so much easier and you can hop in your truck knowing everything works just as it should.

Cheap replacement for an expensive ford part
Perfect fit for my new to me 99 Ford F350 dually. It had the original Ford harness but was extended to the bed for a 5th wheel. This plug and play is for bumper mount for pulling standard bumper pull trailers. Ford part is over $150. Will keep the fuses and relays for spares. The unit seems to be very well manufactured and fitted. Just wish they added a bit of dielectric grease to help prevent corrosion.Way to go Curt

7PIn worked great on my F-250
It was a easy installation and direct connect for my 1999 F-250, the fuses and relays came in handy as they were needed for the Brake controller to work correctly.
