Pretty in pink & functional too!
I was specifically on the hunt for pink joystick grip covers to protect my controller joysticks from wear & tear, and these seemed to fit the bill at a reasonable price, so I went ahead and ordered them. They were easy to apply, and the pink is a perfect hot pink and looks pretty good (imo) on both my green & purple controllers. Fit is expectedly perfect on 8bitdo Xbox controllers. Comfort-wise, I don't notice them while playing, so I think that means that they're pretty comfy. I like how I was able to outfit both my primary controller and my 2P controller using one set of thumb grips. I cannot comment on the tall grips, because they just don't appeal to me... but the standard grips are great.

Fits, Stays On, and Helps with Aiming - Recommended
I got the black version, and am only using the long, concave (dished out top) version, on the right thumbstick. The idea was to get more "throw" of the joystick to improve shooting accuracy (I play mostly Ghost Recon Wildlands). The left "movement" Joystick did not need more accuracy or sensitivity, so I didn't put anything on it, even a short extender from this kit (though I might try one later). It is not too tall to be comfortable, and does seem to allow better fine control of aiming. In the game's controller setup I've increased the speed of "Look" and "Aiming", and may increase them further, as the longer stick allows better fine control near the center, which then allows more rapid movement at the extremes. On this game, I have the "Dead Zone" set to zero, and there is no drift. Some people have complained of these coming off. I don't think I will have that problem. I put mine on the controller that came with my Xbox One X console. I had been using it for over a year, not playing every day or intensely, and it had a bit of "grease" and "wax" from my fingers in the groves at the top of the joystick, but no physical damage at all. I cleaned it carefully with damp and dry paper towels until it appeared clean and grease-free, than pushed on the extender. I tilted and pushed it on from one side to try to get the extender to cup down over the top of the joystick, but it did not immediately do this completely. Squeezing the extender repeatedly in different spots near the bottom, wiggling a bit and poking with a small dull tool eventually got the extender to cup down symmetrically all around the top of the Joystick, which required examining under good light to verify. You should see the extender cupping down evenly all around, nearly touching the thin stick underneath the broad round joystick top. I suspect that some people did not get the extender down fully gripping the joystick top, and part of it was jammed up on top of the joystick, hidden, looking OK, but not fully installed. Either that or there are variations in some production lots, or perhaps in the Xbox One joystick heads in different eras of joysticks. It is very stable and has shown no tendency to shift around or slip during game play, including when "going to the rail", or pushing down to "click the stick". I expect it will last a good while, and because I only used one, I have a replacement ready to install if this one gets loose. It is not heavy enough to make the joystick feel sluggish, or to move unpredictably if the thumb is removed briefly to hit a button (I don't hold my controller with the "claw" style grip). Only thing that gave me pause: While the packaging is quite nice - a small sealed plastic bag with a "Ziplock"-style reclosure - it did not mention Xbox One (or any other console controller type). No problem, it fit fine. A nice feature of the package: you tear off a strip to open it the first time, so you know you are getting a factory-fresh set, and not a return.

Two Years Update
Good value. Really easy to put on. The rubber is a lot harder than I had hoped. It isn't bad, I just wanted something a little squishier. Works as intended. Adds a bit of cushion to your analog stick and the thicker ones also increase height and can even improve accuracy in some games. Although the thick ones tend to block your left thumb from hitting some of the buttons, especially the Back button. Will also prevent wear on your controllers analogs or give you a surface to interface with on analogs rubbed down to bear plastic. Not bad, but not the soft type of rubber. Update: Iโve been using these for two years. I added a pic of the ones Iโve been using. This set is two years old. Iโm retiring them now and putting on a new set. Itโs overdue actually. The fit when theyโre new is pretty good. I have another X1 controller I put these on I donโt use very often and the fit is still tight. The worn ones are pretty lose. They do occasionally fall off if I bump into them from the side. But they never fall off when Iโm gaming. You can see the nubs are mostly worn completely down. The funny thing, in my original review i mentioned wishing they were squishier. Once they get old and worn out, theyโre pretty squishy. I donโt like the big ones. After playing with them for a bit I decided I have no use for them. The one problem with these worn out analog covers is if your fingers are greasy, they get slippery because the nubs are worn off. Of course you can just wipe it off with your shirt. The best thing about these, aside from the additional grip they provide, is my controllers still look brand new, even though it has hundreds of hours of use on it. And I donโt have to open the controller to put on a new set. Whereas, new analogs would require the skill, knowledge, and confidence to open your controller and replace parts. Iโve done it, and I hate working on controllers. Theyโre too easy to brake or lose parts, especially the little springs on the triggers. Iโd give 5 stars, but the big ones are a waste of money for me. I bought another set, because the fitment is perfect and the durability is excellent.

Why Thumb Grips are The Must-Have Add-On For Your Controller
Opposable thumbs may be the one characteristic that separates real gamers vs. neanderthals who play on keyboard/mouse. This is all the more reason to take good care of our thumbs. May the controller be thy sacred vessel to ye in-game character avatar and may these thumb grips serve as Opulent-as-Fuck Plume Blanche sofas for your thumbs. (SRS) The moment you try them on you'll actually notice the reduced weight fatigue your thumbs experience due to gravity. With that being so you will also appreciate the tactile bumps along the surface to give you reptilian van der Waals level types of adhesion. Now if you're 1000 SR from Diamond in Overwatch like me but still plan on going pro, you're going to want the convex pad to go on the left and the concave on the right especially on Xbox controllers, because the left stick positions your thumb upward and the right stick points your thumb inward towards the left. Reason this is so important is because you want the booty meat of your thumb to sit nicely on the convex grip on the left stick which also helps by leaving your thumbs comfortably extended instead of it being painfully curled up and crunched and arthritis-forming. The concave right stick will give you about 15-20% added directional sensitivity (trust me I did the trigonometry on scratch paper for about 45 minutes with Wolfram on my dual monitor setup sweating like crazy trying to solve that measurement) which actually makes the difference in your aim like night and day - LITERALLY. I put these on at night and woke up the next day to play with these. And these are awesome. So if you like luxury. If you support fine craftsmanship. Buy these my dude. Cop a matching set for your Grandma, because there ain't no way she's gonna keep boosting you in group queue with gold elims as an attack Torbjorn if she keeps experiencing episodes of Thumb Arthritis. The struggle is real my dudes.

Did the trick!
Pros: * These thumb grips provide a good, comfortable grip. * Providing pairs of caps at different heights makes it possible to adjust to whatever fits your hands best. Cons: * A bit difficult to put on. While these grips might have been a little difficult to put onto the thumbsticks, they stayed put once attached. The last pair of grips I used had a nasty habit of sliding off and the Aceshot grips sure fixed that problem. The tall thumb grips were a bit too much for my short fingers, but the regular-sized pairs are perfect. They are definitely more comfortable than the stock grips or other third-party grips that I've tried. I used the concave and convex grips as suggested and I've found that my ability to manipulate the thumbsticks has definitely improved.

These havenโt crumpled like other brands works good on my elite Xbox controller

Thin grips are great! Thick ones come off easily.
The thinner ones are comfortable and grippy. The taller ones don't stay secure and pry off when you push the control stick all the way over.

Just as good as Kontrol Freeks, half the price!
I had placed an order with control freeks, and for whatever reason my address reverted to my old address at checkout. I didnโt catch it on time but emailed them immediately. Customer service was of no help never responded until after the package was shipped. Therefore there was no way to fix it. Disputed with the bank got the money back thankfully. Decided to search Amazon for a new product and found this. Was a little bit skeptical but for $10 I could not pass it up. Received it today and it comes with two shorts and two long sticks. So you get a total of four stick extensions , but they mimic either the concave Xbox concave style or the rounded top of a PlayStation. As you can see in my photo I use the short concave on my movement and the rounded top for my heightened aim. Been playing with it for about four hours now and I must say they were just as well as a control freek. Seems to be good quality so far no issues. Highly recommended and kontrol freeks will never see my business again.

Build quality was great, packaging was more than adequate and it arrived ...
My son was looking at some name brand thumb grips, which seemed to be a very high price. We read the reviews of the AceShot and decided it was well work trying them for the lower price. 5 stars. Build quality was great, packaging was more than adequate and it arrived on time. The grips raise the thumbs up a bit, and the geometry means that you have finer small control adjustments. My son's friends did a comparison of a game with and without and all of them said their play was better with the grips. Good value. happy kids.

The right price and cheaper than the name brand, does the job. Provides more range of control then the shallow sticks on their own.

Fits the Razer Wolverine v2 chroma
I bought these for my razer wolverine v2 chroma because the kontrol freak grips did not fit but these slip on ones did perfectly. I tested these also on the OEM Microsoft Xbox controller and they donโt fit the best and are . But besides that they fit razer controller perfect.
