A/C Pro Arctic Freeze Car Air Conditioner Refrigerant Gauge and Hose, Reusable AC Recharge Kit Compatible with R-134A Cans with Self Sealing Valves, A/C Pro

From what I heard, it can get very expensive if you go to a car repair shop to refill the AC gas. So, we decided to give this a shot and this helped us to recharge the AC on our Hyundai Tucson on a very hot summer day. It worked exactly as expected and made the process manageable. For anyone unfamiliar: cars usually have two ports labeled L and H, and refrigerant should always be filled through the L (low-pressure) port. Before filling, it’s important to check the optimal pressure based on the outside temperature. Also, try not to twist the hose too much while connecting, as the port can crack and cause leaks. There are plenty of helpful YouTube videos, make sure to watch one or two to make the process straightforward.

Found snap on fitting worked well, gauge easy to read, valve worked well.

This is a great option for less experienced mechanics.

This so called kit does NOT include the freon. I will be returning this.

Not being aware of a change in can design, my older devices would no longer work. I got this as the “quick and dirty” option to quickly check and add refrigerant if needed. Well it worked great. Detected the low condition causing our lack of cooling and allowed me to add the right amount to remedy the situation right before a 14 day heat wave. Easy decision!

I drove for most of summer without a/c. I tried to recharge my a/c but no matter what I did it wasn’t working. Had friend look at the dispenser and found it didn’t appear to be working properly to release the Freon. I purchased this unit and now my problem has been solved. Worked great and I now have cool air flowing into the vehicle.

Junk. Leaked right out of the package and wasted a can of refrigerant.

This is great to keep a charge in your leaking AC while waiting for a proper repair.

The guage end is to wide and doesn't fit the narrow can threads available in UAE. Adaptors also are not available. If supplier included different adapters at a price, it would be a useful product. Right now totally useless.

Went to use this with the HyChill cans (advertised that it correctly fits with the cans), however, the fittings on the recharge kit is a completely different size compared to the fitting on the can. They do not fit together, so beware that additional fittings are required in order to use this with any HyChill cans. Appears this is 3/8” fitting whereas the cans are 1/4” fitting.
