Better Than Expected
I wasn't expecting much of this as I always thought the Mini was really too small to be able to accommodate keyboard that would be useful. I was wrong.I bought it after a last minute decision to leave my laptop at home during vacation. I thought I'll just buy a mini keyboard for my iPad just incase I need to reply to some wordy work emails. It worked really well. The case is sturdy so it basically turns the iPad mini into a mini laptop, and as such it almost pays for itself by being a great iPad stand as you can prop it up anywhere (Airplane table, cushions, knees, table etc). The keyboard itself is also great. O, it's small so if you touch type it takes a bit of getting used to to make you fast, but it still works well enough. I also sometimes pair it with an Apple Magic Mouse which works well in some situations.I also love the changeable lights and the fact that it doesn't need charging often. If definitely adds to the functionality of my iPad and I've found myself using it more often since I bought this case, since being on holiday. The only downside is that it makes my mini quite clunky and heavy but I guess you have to compromise some where.

The Best Keyboard Case for iPad Mini
I love this little keyboard case! I've tried two other cases for ipad mini and this is by far the best - definitely worth spending the extra money on.It has some weight to it, but that makes it feel sturdy. I was worried the pivot feature would make the screen move around too freely, but the stiffness of the hinge means that doesn't happen. It can easily be moved into a comfortable position and stays there. They keys have good, satisfying feedback. The light up feature is nice if you want to use it in the dark but can be turned off otherwise. The battery life is excellent, and it was very easy to pair with the ipad. Fantastic!

Excellent case
This was the second one of these I ordered. It only loses a star because of the faff i had with Snugg customer service. The first one didn’t work and kept dropping connectivity with the Bluetooth. I contacted Snugg and they are replying but no help. They didn’t troubleshoot or tell me to return the item which was clearly faulty. My husband ordered on his account because he has prime so they couldn’t locate the order so I had to send the order number, they then asked for photos of the order page, then videos of the fault which was hard as it seemed to be intermittent. Anyway, this faff went on for some days so I just ordered another and am happy to say The new one works perfectly although it did show up that the WiFi button on the other one was clearly faulty as wouldn’t depress on the original. I did mention this to them at the start but they just ignored this fact. Anyway, I hope. I have no problem getting my refund. I am out of pocket for the non working one for £54.99 because I was waiting for snugg to help. The faulty one is being returned today. This one is fab though and you don’t even need to reconnect through Bluetooth settings when you switch it back on. It’s protective and sturdy too so as long as you don’t get a faulty one, go for it! Can’t recommend highly enough.

... with the screen tilted away from the user for easy viewing. The case has a warm velvety feel ...
First thing I noticed was that it is quite heavy but then this is necessary to give the stability when opened with the screen tilted away from the user for easy viewing. The case has a warm velvety feel to it which makes handling nice. Very easy to set up and pair with the iPad and provides great protection for it when moving around. Other people have been very complimentary about it too.The only very small criticism I have is that there is no visible indicator to show that caps lock is on when using the keyboard but that is just a minor issue with with what is a great piece of kit.

Annoying keyboard layout. Feels heavy, not refined & Bluetooth lag is frustrating
It makes the iPad feel like a heavy old small Windows Samsung notebook. Chunky & weighty, the keys are tall and need depressing fully to work. The finish is glossy plastic, giving it a dated look. It ‘goes to sleep’ quickly which means double or triple pressing to wake it up all the time is irritating. The keyboard layout & operation is more Windows meets Mac. Still haven’t got used to it after a couple of weeks. The biggest problems are the rearrangement of keys especially the size & position of the delete, enter and ? keys, and the introduction of the Fn key & key board back light key where the Command key should be. Why??? Its OK & ‘robust’ but doesn’t feel Apple.Six months later, July 2020, case lid split across the hinge. Returning.

Perfect fit for mini iPad 4
Well made functional and good looking. Fits perfectly and works straight out of the box. The iPad specific function keys are useful and the ability to pivot the screen and lie it back against the keyboard allowing it to be used as a tablet again is a good design. The keys are a little spongey but this is a minor issue. I have no qualms about recommending it.

Good build quality, bit disappointed and returned
I was hoping this would be a solid keyboard to work with an iPad mini 5. Solid it is, and difficult to open as the hinge is stiff. Keys are all in the right places, but noisy. I would have lived with all of the above if it wasn't for the fact that it tips backwards unless the iPad is open at under 90 degrees which isn't ideal.. due to the way it's weighted with the iPad in, this just wouldn't work on your lap..

Worth the extra cost
This is my third keyboard for my iPad mini 5 and I wish that I’d paid the extra and bought it first because it is compact and you can use it in a flat position with the Apple Pencil. The only slight downside is that there is a slight gap on the side opposite the hinge, which is a bit disconcerting at first when you use that position to write on the iPad with the Apple pencil. If this bothers you, you can always put a small piece of card into the gap. The keyboard also has an almost infinite number of screen positions and I also prefer the keyboard layout to the others that I bought. Fewer symbols need the Fn key (e.g. the @ symbol is where you expect it to be over the 2). The backlit keyboard is a real plus and the typing feel is good too. I used to use a Logitech keyboard with my old iPad mini, and this is even better because of the ability to change screen position without detaching the iPad.
