TIDRADIO 5.5-Mile Long Range Walkie Talkies with Upgrade Acoustic Earpiece

Worked like a charm! Used for a 5k run at my job and my team was thrilled. Best idea ever to get walkers to communicate. Easy to use, lightweight, and reception was just as described.

I recently purchased a set of TIDRADIO TD-V2 walkie talkies for a conference we were hosting, and they were a huge hit! There were over 3000 attendees and my core team of 8 used these. Here's why I recommend: Clear Communication: Even in a crowded conference hall we were able to communicate clearly with the walkie talkies. There was minimal static or interference, and the sound quality was good. Easy to Use: These walkie talkies were perfect for our event because they were very user-friendly. Even people unfamiliar with walkie talkies were able to pick them up and use them quickly. Long Battery Life: The walkie talkies while recharged had no issues throughout our entire conference, which was a plus. We didn't have to worry about them running out of battery in the middle of an important communication which was nice. Overall, I would highly recommend the TIDRADIO TD-V2 walkie talkies for anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use two-way radio solution. They were perfect for our conference and would be a great option for any event or business that needs to stay connected.

I purchased these for my son to use with his friends in our trailer park. He loves them. Everything works well and the signal reaches from the front of the park all the way back to the trails behind it. He is not disappointed with these at all! They were definitely worth what they cost!

cool walkies. rechargeable and stylish, comes with great ear/mouth pieces. just dont expect them to send a signal past 500 feet. but for 15 bucks i didnt expect much more. great for a small to medium job sight. it sends a signal the same as an old cordless 2.4 ghz phones/// about 500-1000 feet if you're lucky and there's no interferences.

We’ve used the walkie talkies regularly for the past year and few months before it got stolen. The range was great and worked about a block away. If there were too many wall barriers, the connection weakened. And occasionally there were others in our channel but we changed them just a few times and it was only a dial away. It gave us a lot of freedom because they were reliable!

I work in a medical office and we bought these radios to keep in contact with one another. Our office isn't huge, but it is separated out quite a bit and sometimes yelling to the back isn't a "customer friendly" experience, so we radio back and forth when we have a call for the nurse line, a patient needs something, or just keeping in touch in general. No one watched the Google chat and we can't always hear when someone yells something out. The ear pieces are comfortable to wear for longer hours and the batteries stay charged for 8+ hours we use them for. The range may not be great, I'd say they start to get spotty around the 50-75 yard range, but for our little office and the price we paid for them, they are perfect!

One of my chargers has the wiggling issue others have mentioned, and it's a major annoyance. So, I have to take a bit off for that. Also, any encoding has to be done via the app, or at least it seems that way, because there's nothing on the radios to encrypt like the product claims it can. Not a major issue, but it's worth noting. Other than that, I'm getting about 2.5 miles in a developed area with plenty of buildings, elevation changes, and interference sources. That's more than enough for me, and I'm happy with that range. Just a couple spots get a bit finicky in my local area. Most of the area, the signal is strong and clear. The radios themselves feel well-built and durable. I like the included accessories, although I don't need them at this time. The USB-charging is extremely welcome. Whether you're charging via laptop, powerbank, or anything else, it's just a lot more convenient than needing a plug or having to swap out batteries, and it makes these extremely flexible options. Most in this price range don't seem to have that. I could give it a 4, or even a 5, if not for one of the chargers being messed up. The extra programmable features not being accessible from the unit itself isn't an issue for me at all, really. It's just a shame I'm stuck sharing one charger between the two of them or wrestling with the crumby one for five minutes to try to get it to work.

These were a gift for my 7 year old who very badly wanted realistic looking radios. These were perfect. They look great! He loved the earpieces. They worked really well all the way down the block and the sound came across very clearly. They were strong and were able to withstand the drops that occurred throughout playing. They kept him busy for many hours. This was a great purchase. It would probably be perfect for adults to use as well but I think having successful use by younger boys is even more telling about their quality and easiness to use.
