Extra small screw in bulbs for non standard lamps

Too small
Did not fit my brother machine. I understood in their advertisement that this globe fits a brother machine. Obviously I must have misunderstood. I will give it to a friend with a sewing machine that it will fit.

J'ai réalisé cet achat pour remplacer une ampoule de machine à coudre. Je suis satisfait de mon achat. Les dimensions correspondent bien à mon besoin : le diamètre est assez fin et la longueur dépasse légèrement. Bon éclairage de l'ampoule. J'espère que la durée sera assez longue dans le temps pour en profiter au mieux. J'ai reçu assez rapidement mon colis. Ma commande (2 ampoules) est arrivée dans une enveloppe à bulle. Les 2 ampoules ont été livrées sans casse. Merci

Very poor LED light for a sewing machine
The bulb is not the same as the one shown in the photo, although it is the same brand and packaging, evidently Hemline have started sourcing their bulbs from a different manufacturer. In any case the bulb we received was bigger and has LED elements casting light sideways not down. As a result in our vintage Elna machine the bulb did not cast direct light on the work area and instead created shadows. It's also an unpleasant cold white light, not great for a worklight and very poor light quality by modern LED standards. I strongly recommend getting the ordinary Hemline halogen bulb, which is fine, instead of this.
