Browning & Seasoning Sauce, 32 oz

My mom always used this in her gravies. It is so good to brown gravy and it gives an added flavor. I can’t ever find it in the store here always sold out so I ordered this big one. A great price since if you can find the smaller ones at the store they are almost 4.00. I am recently widowed and have really gotten in to cooking for just myself. I will use this bottle up probably soon cuz I can see me using it more and more on meats and roasts and not just gravies. like that this large one is not in a glass bottle. You won’t be disappointed it you try it.

I used to help my mom in the kitchen when I was very young and I remember that she used this stuff in a lot of her dishes. She always had the little 4oz bottle (glass back then). I seem to find it difficult to locate it locally so I decided to get the big boy 32oz. and just keep refilling my little 4oz bottle which has its prominent position in my cupboard. This stuff is the best when needing to add a deep rich color to something. Try and brushing directly onto a meat prior to searing it and the taste it adds is impressive not too mention that it adds nicely to the scrapings from the pan. I’m finding more and more ways in which to use this sauce. Too bad that I can’t share them with my mom today. She passed away almost 30 years ago. Too this very day, every time I see or use my Kitchen Bouquet I am bombarded by so many great memories of mom teaching me about her way of cooking, which happened to be Texas comfort food. I Love you mom. Now today I’m much older and a bit more wiser and since I am the one who prepares our meals I will continue to try different things with my Kitchen Bouquet just like my mom showed me. Oh yeah … did I mention that I’m 70 years old and a guy. P. S. My wife loves my cooking. She does the cleaning. Perfect symbiosis!

This unique browsing and flavoring sauce has been a “secret” ingredient for generations. The wildly complex flavor is evident when you read the natural ingredient list. The ordinary product disappeared during the pandemic and I purchased this “commercial” size as the only thing available. My last refill was within the “best by” date and I never noticed any loss of quality as I continually refilled a standard bottle being certain to thoroughly rinse between fillings! At about half the unit price the replacement purchase is a no-brainer. I do now use more in the same recipes—about 50% more—with better dishes as a result. I was always rather sparing due to the rather high cost of a little bottle.
