This was very good; definitely spicy as noted in other reviews, but the flavor is good. I'm very critical of tom yum because I love it and order it at every authentic Thai restaurant I go to, so I was surprised that I enjoyed it so much.The package says to boil 4 cups of water, but I only did 3 because I was worried about the flavor being too watered down- I was glad that I added only 3 because the flavor wasn't too watered down or too strong. As the package suggests, I added a squeeze of lemon and a dash of fish sauce. I didn't have shrimp, mushrooms, or anything else to add to it so I just ate/drank the broth.Half way through the bowl I got a little bored of it not having any substance to it, so I took a package of Maruchan ramen noodles and put the broth back on to boil. I added the noodles and about 1/4 of the package of the chicken seasoning that came with the ramen noodles and I was happy with the result. Definitely not very authentic, but it tasted delicious.Will most likely order again!

This is even more delicious than some of the Thai restaurants' versions of this soup! It has a nice kick to it (if you like your food spicy like I do) and a rich flavor. It makes me wonder how many restaurants use this (or something like it, other brand, etc) as a soup base, rather than the pains it takes to make the soup from scratch? Love it! I've been buying this on Amazon for at least three years now. I usually add tofu, sometimes shrimp, mushrooms and a good handful of chopped scallions to it.

This is incredible stuff makes great Tom kha Gai soup I also take it with coconut milk a little peanut butter and make a great sauce over Chicken shrimp I've used it to make a basting for hot wings with a thai influence and then garnish with scallion cilantro and chiles

It's the same one I bought in Thailand. I like the taste. Just put in your favorite food and bring it to a boil. Too easy.

Delicious! I've been trying for months to find a good tom yum paste that can rival the one I used to buy when I lived in Asia. This one does the trick! More peppery than lemony, but still has strong elements of both.

This is the best Tom Yum soup mix. It’s so good I make tuna salad with it too.
