Excellent Reading Practice Book
This is a wonderful workbook for young readers. The reading passages are engaging, and the comprehension questions are age-appropriate and easy to follow. It has been a great way to build reading confidence and practice at home. The pages are well organized, and there are plenty of activities to keep kids interested. Highly recommend for extra reading practice

Difficulty level is good for 1st or 2nd grade kid
The book quality is good. The difficulty level fits 2nd grade, and it should also be good for a 1st grade child if he or she is advanced in reading.

Mostly great
There are a few activities that don't make a ton of sense for a kid to do independently but the majority of this book has been helpful to my 2nd grader in her reading comprehension.

This worked for my kid
We have a 2nd grade boy that just wants to play. He hates reading. He was behind in class in reading. We spent a ton of money on books, but it was always a battle to get him to read. And when he did, the story would take forever, making him enjoy it even less. We also bought reading apps, which were not helpful. This book has one small story on each page, beginning to end. Each story takes about 5 minutes to read. He is willing to and even looks forward to reading one or two pages per day. He is now on 30 consecutive days of reading and his reading has already vastly improved. I realized that if adults can learn a foreign language in 5 minutes a day on Duolingo, then a kid can learn to read at the 2nd grade level in 5 minutes a day too. This is working for us and we’ve stopped the torture rests. So I would give this book 6 stars if possible. The book has over 100 very short stories.

Good Learning Book
This reading comprehension book is good for reinforcing what they learn in school. It has a wide range of topics to discover and easy to read. It has definitely been helping improve their understanding of reading comprehension.
