Dalai Lama's Little Book of Wisdom Paperback – Illustrated, April 1, 2010

I love everything the Dalai Lama said on this book. Great wisdom about life and humanity general regardless of your religious, race, beliefs and back ground. There's a reason why he is the leader of the Tibetan people. This little book is a great example why he was chosen to be a great leader in today's world. We all need his wisdom and it will give you a new perspective in life. I am a Christian, not a Buddhist, and I believe he is a rare human being. He sees the good in people and believes we are capable of great compassion, humility, and greatness. We just have to learn how to get along and respect each other regardless of our differences.This book is small , light but thick; and does not take much space. You can carry it in your purse or bag easily. Easy and simple to understand. Great to read and it gives insight about your self as a human being and humanity in general.Highly recommended!

I found this book to be an uplifting and informative read. I gave it to my daughter as a birthday gift. She is studying Buddhism. I found some interesting parallels to Eckhard Tolle. Delivery from Amazon was very fast.

This is a simple review. I fit this philosophy. I've grown-up in my own world. No exposure to religen, no use for it. The Dalai Lams's book simply fits me. I do wish people would read or listen to other thought forms. This book is truly wonderful.

In the current world situations, insight into what has keep this man in faith.

Simple yet utterly comprehensive. Dalai Lama is a great teacher.Read as an introduction to or as further study of Buddhism and spiritual life.

I am sure reading this book is a benefit for everybody, no matter at which stage of life s/he is at the moment. The way he fathomed the feelings, how to make use of them and their power in a constructive way is a big benefit to know.

I have this little book, and I bought another for one of my grandsons. He takes it on his travels. Beautiful reading.
