but this is one of those easy repairs that will save you a ton of cash
Disclaimer: I'm not a mechanic, so this review turned out to be more about my experience in replacing an O2 sensor for the first time than the product itself. I will say that I installed and have been driving with this sensor for over a year now with no issues. When my Lancer's check engine light came on, the first shop I went to was all booked up but offered to read the code for me. It was the O2 sensor. I shopped around and was quoted anywhere from $130-$400 to replace it. For $80 on Amazon I was able to buy this, an ODB II reader which I can continue to use for future repairs, and the proper wrench to do the repair myself. I spent 10 minutes watching a tutorial on YouTube and about a half hour performing the repair. The old sensor was burnt and visibly worn, and the part number was different from the OEM part (although still Denso) but it fit perfectly and performs as expected. I'm the farthest thing from a mechanic, but this is one of those easy repairs that will save you a ton of cash. I highly recommend doing so if you're on the fence about it.

diagnosis was the upstream O2 sensor was bad. Ordered this
Check engine light was on, diagnosis was the upstream O2 sensor was bad. Ordered this, shipping was super fast and awesome. Old part was out and this one was in in less than 10 minutes. Driving it around for about a day got the check engine light to go out and the car passed inspection! You will want to buy the special socket for replacing O2 sensors. It's basically a deepwell socket with a slot in one side so you can slide it down onto the part with the wire through the slot. I tried to remove the old one from the car using just a wrench but there was not enough room. Mechanics wanted $150 to do this job - don't let them. You can do this.

Works, wire too short for 3G Eclipse V6
Works but connecting wire too short for 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse 3.0L V6. The cable needed 3 or 4 more inches of length to be able to mount harness connector mount. My original cable was 14” long and this one was not.

2004 Mitsubishi Lancer ES
My 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer ES had a CEL, which turned out to be a faulty oxygen sensor. After proper testing and failed cleaning, I decided to purchase this OEM sensor. Removal for this is simple, with proper tools and installion is even easier. Provided was copper anti-seize and instructions for those in need. Once installed, I cleared the CEL with my scanner and ran the vehicle. I've had no issues since then and product is high quality. Pay the extra money to purchase this and be worry free!

Perfect fit for 2000 eclipse gt
Perfect fit for 2000 eclipse gt, I just wish it came with anti-sieze. I had to go but some at an auto parts store. Not a huge deal, but inconvenient nonetheless.
