It was an interesting experiment. The one suggestion that I would offer is to come out with a truly crunchy version, although of all these butters, none could be found by me in crunchy style. This "creamy" one was slightly less than creamy, which was fine with me--mo betta actually to my taste. The "exotic" stuff included hazelnut, cashew, walnut, watermelon seed, pine nut, pumpkin seed, pistachio, hemp seed, brazil nut, and macadamias. (Doesn't add up to 13 because two of them were doubles.) Some of these ran runny, some had added sunflower oil, some were sweet enough that I had to check the ingredients--no, the nuts' natural sweetness comes out even more as butter in a few of them--no sugar added. Some were a bit bitter, which I also didn't mind, as it exemplified the natural flavor of those nuts. Some did have salt added, but unlike salted commercial almond or peanut butter, were never over salted. Why did I like the Millican Pecan butter the best? I love pecans, and it was totally pecan, was the least oily, needed the least stirring, WAS slightly crunchy, and was value priced to boot!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It tasted like pecans and I like the texture and thickness. My favorite thing is "no sugar added"

The pecan butter is a delicious and healthy alternative to peanut butter, fresh and the right balance of saltiness. The consistency is pleasant. Be sure to stir it well before each use. It is competitively priced. Even the jar design is lovely. I would highly recommend it!

Best tasting nut butter I’ve ever had.

The pecan butter did not have a fresh or good taste when it arrived. I left it in the fridge a few days and gave it another try but it was the same. I have purchased other pecan butter brands and have never experienced this before. It may have been that I got a bad batch of pecans because even the oil tasted bad.

Tastes good and comes in a nice size. I did find a few pieces of shells which was concerning.

Taste is alright, but unless you are on a salt-restricted diet, which few people truly need, this pecan butter does not have enough salt. I am not one to routinely salt my foods, but at only 5 mg per serving, this is definitely under-salted. Thankfully, I can fairly easily add more, which I will, but next time may try another brand.

Delicious. Fresh pecan flavor. Not oily!
