so glad i bought two, this is one of my favorite things ever. the soft rose petals in the jelly make me go crazy, so so good

I was pleasantly surprised to taste it and find that it had a really nice flavor-just fresh & clean and with a flower perfume that I both tasted and smelled at the same time, but not overpowering. I think it will work great as part of the filling in the rose-flavored cake I'm planning to make.

So, I did a questionable thing that would probably leave my mother appalled... I ate this jam even though it came with the seal popped open. But in my defense, I could see the lid looked like it had been damaged in transit (dent on one side). And it was cold from traveling across the midwest in December. So... I took a chance. Sorry mom. Glad I did, though, because it is a fun taste experience! If you ever wanted to eat a rose petal dipped in sugar, this is probably what it would taste like. Yes, it has a weird perfumey-ness, and might not be your everyday jam, but it's something to try at least once. My daughter used it to bake a bread she saw on Pinterest with pistachios and dried fruit. It was actually quite tasty when baked into the bread dough... just a light, floral sweetness. I recommend.

I've tried a lot of rose jellies and jams and this one is the best.

I opened my jar last night to treat a guest to the experience and I was embarrassed. This is not good quality rose petal jam at all. The flavor is weak and the texture is like jello. I would return it if I could. I am not even using the remainder of the jam in the jar but tossing it the garbage. It isn't worth buying, it isn't worth having as a gift. The seller is is faultless. The jam is not.

Delicious rose petal jam like I use to buy in France. Delicate but strong rose flavor & scent. Will be buying more!

Jelly consistency rather than a confit but tasty nonetheless. Looking fkr 15 years in stores without success. So happy the Amazon.com has rose petal confit!
