It arrived with a battery that would not charge. I swapped the one from my previous E590 along with RAM and SSDs. I was able to use this laptop, but not while plugged in; it would freeze and need to be restarted. I also suppect some issued with the video chip. Watching any type or length of video would also cause the display to flicker or go black and the system to freeze. Thus, I was effective unable to watch YouTube, have video calls or make videos using this laptop. I had to restart it so frequently, I got used to it. I am giving ⭐️⭐️⭐️s because I only had enough cash at the time to afford this. The price was right. I made it do what it do. I finally was able to replace it with a new E16 this past holiday season., so it is now this E590 is retired. I will make certain to only purchase new equipment in the future to mitigate the risk of buying into problematic systems. Review: Recommended - Great product. Efficient & practical.

Bought in 2019 but software had been loaded in 2014
Not sure if this was a refurbished laptop, but it was sold as new. I have had many issues and now have to replace, only a year and a half later.

Build Quality
around 6 month old and the plastic frame around the LCD cracked one one corner. Sent it to Lenovo for warranty repair, they told me it will cost me somewhere around $300CAD because the damage is cosmetic and not covered under warranty... Seriously, i now have to look at the cracked plastic frame every time i am looking at the screen. my first and most likely last Lenovo laptop purchase.

Defective unit
Looks like the unit was not inspected properly. It was a defective unit and shouldn’t be for sale. Anyway it was returned.
