took a while to first inflate, but once we'd deflated and re-inflated it was fine. Results in a good thickness to give a comfortable night's sleep. And deflating just needs you to squeeze the air out by rolling and packs away to a small size.

Very comfortable self inflating mat, though that function needs a lot of help from your lungs. High r rating for warmth and nice piece of kit. Good value for the price (about £35) but weighs 1.2kg so is heavy and quite bulky compared to others.

One of the more uncomfortable mats I've slept on. Gave me a sore shoulder and was constantly waking up and having to alleviate pressure points..

I love this, the first time I used it I let it self inflate then blew it up fully and found it uncomfortable because it was too hard, ever since I just let it self inflate and use it as it and it has been great. Packs small enough for weekend bike camping trips, lake district hiking trips, etc... I love that it's full length and happy to carry the extra weighti has on a demi length version. Great product!
