Bunny Williams On Garden Style Hardcover – April 7, 2015

Very informative gardening book. Beautifully photographed (if you just enjoy looking at pictures) but also a very good read. Helpful advice that inspired me to take the gardening for our home up a notch. Thanks Bunny Williams !

I enjoyed this book and all the photos, but I was very glad that there was also so much text and discussion by Bunny. I read every word. I do wish she had included photographs of a few of the gardens she so aptly described, but did not picture. Alas, there were some disconcertingly mis-identified plants in some of the garden photos-- disconcerting given the expertise of the author. For example, on page 235 the large swath of plants labeled "lavender" are almost certainly not, but perhaps Petrovskia. And the picture # 1 on page 196 "canal bordered by box hedges"-- those hedges are definitely NOT box.

How could I resist a book written by someone named Bunny?Makes me want to read the books "Peter Rabbit,""Guess How Much I love You?"and the "Velveteen Rabbit" --AGAIN AND AGAIN .Gardens are magical. Bunnies are magical.Bunnies transport you to any garden you choose.Beautiful book, Bunny Williams, and collaborators -- bunnies!

Love how Bunny "grouped" the various parts of the book. Beautiful photography. I was able to relate to most of the book because of her easy readable writing style! A GREAT addition to my garden library!

Fantastic book that provides lots of food for thought on the garden design front. Introduces a "vocabulary" of garden style that is very helpful when thinking about your own garden, or enjoying other gardens!

I give it four stars simply because it is by Bunny Williams. I normally love everything she does but I was disappointed with this book. I expected more beautiful pictures of landscaping and less writing. I got the book because it had such good reviews. I looked at it but didn't feel compelled to pick it back up. That is how I judge decorating/landscaping books. If I want to look at them over and over then they are good. I may change my mind if I ever go back and read it."An Affair with a House" is one of the Bunny Williams best books and one of THE best decorating books ever! Wish she would do another like it.

I feel like Bunny Williams is one of my best friends. I have all her books. This one not only had lovely photos, but her wise guidance was once again included in the text.

Fantastic garden book! No downside here! Love her style and her simplicity!
