Mandy’s Favorite Louisiana Recipes

I love this book. I live on the Texas Gulf coast and cook Cajun much of the time. I received it today and I already have 2 of her recipes simmering on the stove. I have versions of almost all her recipes, but I think hers are are going to be better. If you are an experienced cook who likes Louisiana food, you should buy this. If you are an inexperienced cook, wait a few years, then buy. Measurements and cooking times are not always exact, but with a bit of care, the results are wonderful. Replaces a few family recipes that have been handed down.

This is terrific...a page of American culinary history..I know, I say that a lot about cookery books that have been brought back into the public view , but it's true !

Love this cook book! I think the stories and quips are fun and interesting for my kid to hear. I've made a couple of recipes and really want to make the crab soup! "If I can keep the leftover crab.If there is any." Great cookbook, so is the price! Great Food!

I LOVE this BOOK.

The cookbook is nice and arrived promptly,however there is a lot more writing on the pages than I was lead to believe,so the book itself is great but it was overpriced considering the condition..

IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE ORIGN OF LOUISIANA FOOD, BOTH CREOLE AND CAJUN ...THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU. MANDY HAS SOME OF THE BEST ORIGIONAL RECIPES FROM BOTH CULTURES IN THIS BOOK. AS MUST HAVE IF YOU ENJOY LOUISIANA FOOD.
