If a licensed technician installed this part they may be able to reach out to the manufacturer on your behalf and file a manufacturer's warranty. Otherwise, you would need to purchase a new part. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!" Needless to say, I'm not buying another.8/5/2020 update: This product no longer works. It did not last for a year in a dryer in a second home for two people! DO NOT recommend,This product arrived quickly and was easy to install. While it is expensive, doing it myself was much less costly than paying a service call fee and labor on top of the cost of the part.

Dislike this item. Installed and dried two loads of clothes and it would not work. Also thought Iwas ordering a new control but did not receive. We bought new dryer after the $70.00 timer was flawed. Tried to get into my Amazon account and it kept saying wrong password. Same password I used to do this survey.

Wish I could give more stars, but I can't speak to the product's durability because my husband broke the clip meant to hold it in place while installing it (rendering it useless). I paid for expedited shipping and it did arrive sooner than expected.
