Great for wire
Great bender for wire that's too heavy to bend by hand, I love it! have not used it for anything heavier but I am sure it would work well

Not Bad
I bought this item to use on 3/16 stainless steel rod. The dies are ok for this but not for anything much larger. Maybe 1/4 inch at max. If anything bigger then the metal will slip off the die. Also I do not think the handle and the unit held in a vise would give you that much leverage to bend anything bigger.I wanted to bend the rod more than once (for example making a spiral) around the die and it could not do it because the die was too thin to wrap the rod around the die more than one. All in all ok for angle bends of small diameter metals but nothing else. Make sure you know it's limitations before buying.

It’s ok for small rods.
1/4” rod is about the largest this thing can handle. It does work. It finished the job I needed it to do.

This may be the worst tool I have ever purchased
Bender was delivered yesterday afternoon opened package and it seems that this was either a used bender or the factory packaging guy forgot to wipe his fingerprints off the bender and instead decided to camouflage the assembly with his fingerprints. This may be the worst tool I have ever purchased. Looks like instead on focusing on fit and finish the MFG just sandblasted the entire thing to hide machine marks. Burrs left on the drilled holes, Dies won't slip onto dowel pins without effort. For a $64.00 Purchase the dies should fit. This was a gamble and Eastwood has the same bender for half the price but they were out of stock. I will be returning this.

Poor fit and finish.
Not all dies fit upon arrival. Some were galled on the inside and required polishing, coercion, or both to get working. Fit and finish in general was weak with component tolerancing not being great and very visible machine marks on some surfaces. Also only being able to attack the piece from one direction is a bit problematic when making sharper bends.

Worked very well for a compact tool

simple, effective, practical
I use it for it's versatility, ease of use and low price. It was the solution I was looking for. I have 3.

Not for 3/8” rod
Says max size is 3/8” rod. Nope. Thats what i bent. 6 bends and handle cracked and pin in handle bent and popped out of handle. I gave it a 3 star because i liked everything else about and feel that it would be great for 1/4” and smaller, maybe 5/16”.
