Not what expected
I'm a fairly experienced wood worker and wanted to get into some "Rustic Furniture" building, I've seen many pieces locally and thought I'd give it a try. What I was expecting was furniture built with tenon joints that would look nice in any home. What the book is, are a bunch of plans to build very very very rustic looking furniture. What I mean by rustic is raw unpeeled log/sticks unlike anything I've ever seen. This is not the rustic type furniture you would see in a lodge or expect to see in a log cabin, if that's what you're expecting, which I was this book is not for you.

This is a very clearly presented book, I recommend for anyone who wants to make rustic furniture. There isn't much rustic furniture available, so if you want it for your cabin in the woods, you have to make it. Doug tells you how.

Looks easy enough for me to do
living in the woods, I have often thought of making my own furniture. Unlike other books, this one explains how to do so easily without a ton of tools. Can't wait for the snow to go away so I can start making some!
