Perfect for our karaoke setup-Quick and easy!
This quick release bracket was exactly what I needed for our karaoke station. I’m using it to mount a monitor that displays lyrics, and it couldn’t be more convenient. Setup was super easy—took just a few minutes, and everything clicked right into place without any hassle. The quick release feature is a game-changer. It makes it so simple to detach the monitor when we're done and pack things up. The bracket feels solid and secure, and the monitor stays firmly in place during use.If you're setting up a mobile or home karaoke system and need a reliable, no-fuss mounting solution, this is the one. Totally worth it!

Simple installation and use
I bought a large Dell monitor that wouldn’t fit the Ergotron wall mount I’ve used for years. This adapter prevented me from buying a new mount or using a stand. It fit perfectly. And, I can easily lift the monitor off of the arm if I need to. Previously I would have to remove screws to replace the monitor. Its so simple to install this adapter.

great product
purchased to use on a TV for outside use so that i could quick release from wall mount for storage. ultimately returned as i decided to go another way but the item itself is very sturdy and made of good quality materials. the only thing i had concerns about was that the release latch is plastic whereas others that i have seen are metal. did have concerns over the long term of how it would last over the long term

Very sturdy
These are very good, the best quick release VESA plates I've found. They get a lot of use on a video DIT cart with monitors that are being swapped regularly. The brackets aren't perfect but I feel they still deserve 5 stars because I have found nothing of comparable design that's better quality and the price feels about right compared to inferior models I've tried. My minor complaints:+ There is no security screw for securing the plate, just a pressure clip that's fairly easy to trip. I don't consider it that big of a deal because the plates are very tightly fitted and it would take a *lot* of force to accidentally dislodge them. You'd probably break the monitor itself before the brackets disengaged.+ The plates being as tight as they are, it was actually hard to get them apart at first. Took a lot of effort and some hammer taps to get them to separate the first few times. After that they are easy enough to seat/unseat.

Plastic- breaks easily
For how luxury ergotron tries to paint itself, for this item to have its most important part made out of plastic is embarrassing. The plastic bent out of place on first use and any trying to press the plastic release tab feels like it will break instantly. Go with the vivo branded one instead and it’s cheaper too.

Durable and Easy to Mount
Needed an inexpensive but durable mount for a 24" flatscreen (LED-Westinghouse) television to mount outside under patio/awning. Also wanted to be able to easily remove the TV and take it into the garage so I bought two however, the mounting bracket is not "Quick release" so I also bought the "Ergotron Quick Release LCD Bracket (60-589-060)". This bracket fit perfectly with the Video Secu LCD Monitor Mount. I was able to attach the "Ergotron bracket to the TV and the mounting bracket to the Wall mount. Holes matched up on all mounts. I Purchased two of the Wall Mounts and Ergotron Brackets (might use one for my other wide screen=32"). Now I can easily pull the TV from the mount and take it inside during bad weather or snap it into the other TV Mount & Bracket I put in the garage. Product seems well made and stable. Release lever/button (you push the lever/tab/button down and slide out the bracket) is a little funky and is plastic. This will probably break if experiencing a lot of use but doesn't really matter because the lock is unnecessary anyway because you can see from the photo (if mounted correctly) the TV's weight holds the bracket in place and it cannot slide "down". You have to slide the TV up, to dislodge the bracket (keep in mind when mounting so you have room above the TV to "lift up" when removing.

Takes some fiddling.
This totally works but the screws scratch up the back plate unless they're super low profile. Also took some bending of the metal latch to get the clip to actually work.
