Epic 4G bonding
I’ve tried various encoders in the past, both software and hardware and the LiveU has really increased the quality of my output by bonding two 4G connections together, providing me with more bandwidth and therefore a better quality stream. You don’t connect to the LiveU unit itself to get a web interface, you connect to the LiveU cloud service which remotely controls the unit. A far more grown up affair than a shoddy local web interface and far better as you’re able to control it via 4G remotely. All in all I’d say if you’re thinking about it, buy it!

So good, that I bought a second two weeks later.
Very robust, professional-looking piece of kit. Quick and easy to use. The video input screen is an appreciable advantage over Terradek's version. Once you've created an account and registered the serial number, setting up a streaming profile via your LiveU Solo web page is a doddle. Using just ONE Huawei E3372 4G USB dongle, I can stream 1080p50 at 6000kbps (the max for Twitch), so luckily, no need for the expensive bonding service, or a second SIM contract. I've been using them out on location with Blackmagic Ursa broadcast cameras and Poweroak 400Wh battery packs and they just stream rock solid all day.

Amazing for the IRL broadcaster
Used twice so far and really impressed with it. Easy to setup and really easy to use. Just setup where you are going to broadcast to on their site, link some 4G dongles to it, plug in camera and press the button. Can't get any easier. Really light without feeling cheap. It does need airflow though, so best to keep it in a mesh pocket on outside of backpack. Look forward to using this many times in the future.

Awesome Live Stream Encoder
I do a lot of live streaming for funerals and weddings. This device has been fantastic in locations where a single modem just won't provide the network speed needed to stream well. I use this more often than not now, even with my Atem mini with multiple connections, this is down by using program HDMI out or the streaming bridge. Could be getting our second unit next month as we are often doing two jobs simultaneously now. Highly recommended to those wanting to do reliable live streaming.

Good value, great product
Arrived the next day. Used for live streaming European rugby. Great value, works brilliantly and can be remotely set up via a laptop anywhere in the world

Solution for streaming everywhere
Having a company that streams events I needed to a solution to make sure I could go live even though there is no "proper" internet available on location due to insufficient speed or company firewalls. After looking around I can across the LiveU Solo and it became a game changer. It has saved me a few times. But, it also is my tool of choice to stream IRL to Twitch or even bring it into live production as a mobile camera. It uses an easy to use web portal where you can select the social media platform of your choice and after you press live, you live. The Solo doesn't come with modems, so you will need to purchase them seperately. You can connect two USB modems, 1 ethernet modem and a wifi modem. With more than 1 modem you not only can get more bandwith you can enable LRT which is the LiveU secret sauce that enables you to have a more stable signal, making your setup more mobile. I highly recommend the LiveU Solo!

We are one of the congregations taking responsible measures for health and safety in this Coronavirus time. Our live-streaming capability was crippled by bad software and transmission system. In one easy to use step, this little marvel cured our problems, made our live stream work great and enabled us to remain in contact with those in our congregation. The setup ease was wonderful. The packaging quality told you right away that the manufacturer cared about the presentation of their product. Hook up wires - push a couple of buttons - download a manual and we were up and running in less than an hour, full live-stream ready in a couple more.

It’s everything you need for mobile content creation, plug in a modem, add a power bank and camera and away you go, tho this is the older model and finding a powerbank with a 12v DC outlet is getting hard, still it’s an excellent bit of kit to bring your streaming out into the world
