Premium Feel and Premium Performance
If you have ever stood on a freezing, exposed touchline in Glasgow on a Saturday morning watching kids football while horizontal rain tries to pierce your soul, you will know that ordinary umbrellas do not survive here. They don't just break; they suffer a spectacular, inside-out structural collapse within four seconds of leaving your car. Not this absolute unit of a brolly. I took this bad boy out into a howling Glasgow storm at the weekend for a visit to the Gladiator's in the Hydro. The wind was doing its absolute best to rip the skin off my face, but this umbrella didn't even flinch. While other attendees were playing a tragic game of tug-of-war with their inverted, shredded umbrellas—looking like broken birds in the tempest—I was standing there in my own private, bone-dry sanctuary. It withheld the gale beautifully. I felt like a medieval knight shielding himself from an incoming volley of arrows. I am officially in safe hands for the rest of the season. But my absolute favourite feature? The magic button. With one satisfying, tactical click, this thing deploys like an emergency parachute. It makes you feel incredibly powerful. You just stand there, press the button, and BAM—instant dome of defiance against the Scottish elements. If you are a football parent who is tired of being cold, wet, and humbled by the Glasgow wind, buy this immediately. It’s not an umbrella; it’s a personal shield.

A good low cost brolly, not for everyday but good.
OK, the first one had to go back, a rubber sealing washer was missing. I then bought 2 more, both were excellent. Now they're not as good as the more expensive ones, but for occasional use they're brilliant. Big, not measured to see if they are 80 inches, but if they aren't the can't be far off. We now have one in each car. Ideal for covering a picnic, just as long as the wind is low. They dont auto erect like the more expensive ones, but as soon as they're open, who's bothered.

More positives than negatives
Had this umbrella for 14 months. Mostly it has been a positive experience, large canopy (68”) light weight easy to open and close good water repellency, robust construction. However I live by the coast and therefore subjected to a fair share of windy weather. I’ve weathered a few storms but got caught by a strong gust this morning which put paid to my umbrella: blew it inside out (which it has survived on previous occasions with only some stitching bursting) but today 3 of the spokes burst rendering it useless.

A Reliable, Oversized Umbrella That Truly Holds Up in the Wind
The G4Free 62‑inch golf umbrella has quickly become one of my favorite “be prepared” items. The size alone is impressive—it easily covers two people without feeling awkward to hold. The automatic‑open mechanism works smoothly, which is especially helpful when you’re juggling bags or trying to stay dry during a sudden downpour. The double‑canopy vented design really does make a difference. Even on windy days, the umbrella stays stable and doesn’t flip inside out. The fiberglass frame feels sturdy yet lightweight, and the Black/Dark Blue color combination looks sleek and professional. It’s fully waterproof, dries quickly, and the grip is comfortable enough for longer walks. Whether for daily use, travel, or keeping in the car for emergencies, this umbrella feels dependable and well‑built. A great choice if you want something large, durable, and genuinely windproof.

Bin zufrieden
Konnte den Schirm noch nicht bei starken Böen testen. Bei mitelstarkem Wind hat er sich bewährt.
