Schluter DITRA-Heat-E-WiFi Thermostat DHERT104/BW

I have supplied and installed several of these on renovation sites associated with Schluter Ditra Heat systems. They all work very well, clients are happy. I like the WiFi features and the app that allows you to monitor and control from your phone or tablet. This unit was purchased for my own home to replace an old Nuheat thermostat. The change over went very well, the app works perfectly and I would highly recommend this thermostat.

I bought this because I had the old programmable version without wifi capabilities. I wanted an easier programming format that had online capabilities for my bathroom floor heater. This one did the trick. My electrician installed with ease since my original one had no problems. The setup though not seam less is not that hard. The hardest part was when you use the "@" symbol to put in your email address, don't exit out. One of the symbol button takes you back to regular italics (I made that mistake twice and it makes you start your email input all over again if you mess up). But once you get past that hiccup it was smooth sailing. Schluter sends you to a website (not their main one) once you start the process via an email confirmation. And you can download the iPhone app too. I would recommend once you pair your thermostat onto you wifi, then use use your computer to login from the email they send you, setup your schedule, then download the app on your phone. In that order. I really like once you give it your kWh it can show you how much you spend on a daily, and weekly basis. very nice touch. One last thing my old thermostat only went up to 74 F. This one goes up to 80+ F and you can really feel it. For the first time I had ever own this floor heater I had to turn it down. Great upgrade, highly recommended.
