Great product, with a little patience...
Very happy with this. Comes with everything you need (which I didn't realize until I opened the kit, but was nonetheless happy to find). As previously mentioned, the liquid they send is useful but not near enough unless the temp is well below 70 and the hood is cool. I simply poured the small bottle into a large spray bottle 3/4 full of water and shook it together - worked great after. You will really want to soak the hood and decal, front and back as you peel it off and after you clay bar the hood. I did this alone (they recommend a second person), and it can be tricky but if you're patient and think it through you'll be fine. After you spray it all down and get it laid onto the hood, eyeball the lineup and with a little pressure move the decal into place. I stood on the fenders and bumper to get a birds-eye view of the placement. I also used a tape measure to ensure even placement around the hood brackets, since my eyes have been known to lie to me before. Once you do that, hold it lightly in place and, using the felt side of the small squeegy, go from the center to the top, then bottom, then left and right - making a cross. Then work out the rest of the water, always from the center. After it's all laid out, wipe it dry with a soft cloth and cut the holes with the included razor. Reinstall hardware and drive. Install took me all of 15 minutes from claying to finish, with a few close calls in between. Couldnt' be happier with the product, as the Arizona sun can be somewhat unforgiving off a silver hood. Makes driving more fun, and added a unique, good look to my TJ.

Great Product!
This is a great product! Well made. Easy to install. Comes with everything you need. Some reviews say the water bottle was too small, but there was more than enough - we did not even use the whole bottle. It took about 30 minutes to apply - with 2 people. It went on perfectly smooth. However, a few hours later a few small bubbles did pop up. I have no idea what caused them. We were not able to smooth them out because the adhesion had already set in on the rest of the decal. The bubbles are noticeable when you look closely, but still better than the messed up paint on my 25 years old Jeep hood. This was definitely worth $40 and 30 minutes.

Covered up some clear coat damage. Quality product
Install was pretty straightforward as far as vinyl goes- which I hate putting on stickers. I always mess it up. But we took our time and it came out pretty good. Here’s a before and after. I ceramic coated over the side clear coat failure so it looks decent from a few feet away, and really nice in pics.

Not so easily installed
Just liked other reviewers wrote, the liquid soap that comes with decal is useless. The spray nozzle did worked and the amount of liquid is too small. The vinyl got impossible to fix wrinkles that annoys me to death. Looks cool but wrinkled too easily and impossible to fix. Not pleased with the product. Followed every instruction and saw videos of professionals installing similar decals.

Jeep Wrangler Hood Decal
Nice product. Seems to be of a good quality. I put this on my Wrangler hood that had a lot of spider cracks in the hood. Product hid all but the most serious of cracks. Definitely a 2 person install. Went on easy. Just use plenty of soapy water in a spray bottle and you'll be good to go. Follow the directions given with the product. Even better, watch some how to videos on YouTube. The kit comes with the decal, retractable disposable razor knife, felt bladed squeegee and a very poor excuse for a pre-loaded spray bottle of soapy water. Company would be better off not sending this pre-filled spray bottle, instead they should send an empty regular size (think trigger spray bottle) and let the purchaser fill it with their own solution. What they sent first is way too small (does not hold enough soapy water) and your finger and hand would be numb by the time you finished using it. Would by product again. Update 7.10.17. Still looks good. Still securly attached. So far so good. Update: 01.12.2020:. Still looking good.

Best under $40.00 add on you can buy.
Best under $40.00 add on you can buy. Removed all of the hardware from the hood. To get the hood bumpers off I used needle nose pliers and slowly pushed the underside nipple through the hole. Used my own water spray bottle with dish soap . Used close to half the bottle wetting the back of the vinyl and hood of my jeep. Had both soaking wet which enabled me to slide the vinyl around to get it in position without it sticking. Used the edge of the hood, nearest to the windshield, as a guide to make sure I put it on straight. Used their supplied squeegee and to get all of the air and water out from under the vinyl. Repeated the squeegeeing process 4 - 5 times. The only complaint would be with their instructions, must be generic to all of their products. Step 4 says "removing transfer tape from the top of the decal." There is nothing to remove from the top of the decal after its attached to the vehicle. You have to be patient putting this on, but it looks great!!!
