It was meant to be...replaced my 1.50 Kenda Kwest on my recumbent
These Kenda commuter tires are rated 65 psi max as opposed to 100psi for the Kenda Kwest, which was more of a bald faced tire that came with my Trident trike. These have a bit more aggressive tread making it a bit more puncture resistant, and made a huge difference in ride, traction and stability on varying bike path terrain...from asphalt, fine crushed gravel and dirt. I "Slimed" the tubes to avoid flats, running these tires at 45psi to have a better footprint and a more cushioned feeling. Rolling resistance is a moot point as my trike is converted to an E-bike. The red color contrasts nicely with the black rims...more than a fashion statement, these are nice replacement tires.

Nice but cream color does not stay like new.
I shall update this review later after I put some miles on the new tires. I have heard they wear fast. Time or miles will tell.I have a red Dahon P8 folding bike. It had the big apple tires. While are 1.75 at the rim are fat and probably 2.5 inches round. I am buying some fenders because I plan on using my bike to ride to work. The fenders are only 1.75 so need to down grade to these size. Plus my original tires were bald.I felt the Red would clash and not match my current red paint. Blue tires would look like a supermen bike. Did not want to go with black. So chose the cream color. They were easy to put on with bike tire levers. But have 2 feedback items. One, before with black tires, eyes would look at the bike and I would not notice the 20 inch folding bike tires. Now with cream color, the 20 inch wheels stand out. Just looks odd. Almost like you are riding a clown bike. Maybe it is just me.Next, As I am liking the look of the cream color tires, I took the bike for a short ride to the store about 1/2 miles away to by some lottery tickets. I rode mostly on the side walk. When I got home, the pretty cream color was no more. I guess I should have expected it. the roads dirt makes them real dirty looking. I guess that is normal for black tires but you never see it. Now I do.I will keep these and hope they wear down quickly so I can buy some more Not Cream.I did get new inner tubes too. Got the Amazon ones with Slim inside.

No slip on turns , faster acceleration!
These seem sort of like the regular stupid slick tires BUT its actually way better. This tire requires MORE pressure , which is very important to keep the bike puncture resistant and faster .Punctures seem to happen also because of how items poke into the tires more easily when the tires bend down too much. They really do have low rolling resistance and i can make sharper turns. Didnt try it on the snow but i can use my old ones with a snow kit.Since these tires are black, they wont look at dirty as white tires...These probably arent exactly cyclocross tires because i dont think they can handle mud as much as tires with more spikes at the middle... But those spiles reduce speed .They look so cool on my bike and they are almost rock hard o.o which means they wont bend down on the floor too much and therefore cause more rolling resistance. I should have gotten these tires when i first had my bike. I didnt know wth i was missing! If you got regular slick tires with small grooves buy this! You will appreciate that it pulls away rain and helps prevent slipping during turns.Of course on mudd or worse might be a different story unless it isnt too deep.Thank you amazon for the reduced price. I saw nothing wrong on mine except..... These tires habe a little excess rubbee that doesnt always look good and makes me question its performance... Like at the middle ofall arpund the surface of the tires..Anyway, it was a great buy. Less stress on my legs. It felt great :o

High quality tires
I purchased two of these for use on a Dahon folding bike and they seem high quality and a good fit for the Dahon's rims. The blue color is a little flashy contrasting with my red frame but after some dust and road wear they become a little duller and are not as bright as shown in the photos.

Put These Tires on Your Recumbent!
Great tires. Replaced the stock CST tires with these and....WOW! Faster, More Responsive, Smoother Riding, Better Grip. How a higher pressure and more aggressive tire accomplishes all this for a road tire is weird to me but I cannot refute how much better my Terra Trike Rover handles and feels.GREAT TIRE!!!

not good quality
The tire came warped and I had trouble getting it to sit nicely on the rim because of that. it also wobbles while in motion. I expected better from Kenda as I have had several other tires from them that were of good quality. Skip this one, even my cheap Eastern bikes tires were much better than this.

Terrstrike bike tires.
These tries so far are doing a great job on my Terratrike recumbent bike they roll very smoothly and handle well on the turns. They were very easy to put on and look good on the bike. I only have about 20 miles on them right now will report again after a few hundred miles . Tom
