So Much Fun
I have bought 5 sets of these Maracas for 5 different families as gifts! They are a perfect size for little hands and the combo of electronic and manual give the kids options. They are not only a great quality, but vibrant colors, educational, bi-lingual and portable for car rides or walks in a stroller! Definitely a great value, you get 2!!

Okay for Specific Needs, Not for Every Kid
Parents, do right by your kids—skip the toys with flashing lights and endless noise, and let them use their imaginations. That said, I bought the LeapFrog Learn & Groove Shakin' Maracas specifically to provide light and sound stimulation for students with significant cognitive impairments. Honestly, I use the manually‑shaken maraca in the pair far more than the one with lights and sounds. And the one time I forgot to turn it off, it kept chirping away in the back of my SUV the entire drive home. Longest trip of my life. Save your money and toss some rice in an old pill bottle for your little one to shake instead. And for the love of developing little brains, keep toddlers off phones and tablets too...unless you want to provide this special educator with job security. To be fair, they’re well‑made and reliably do what they’re supposed to. The buttons respond consistently and the build feels sturdy enough to handle enthusiastic shaking or dropping.
