Bought this because I wanted to utilize my own mount instead of the one included with the TV. Over a year now and the tv hasn't fallen....it's a win in my eyes

I have a Samsung tv that I hate so much. It was in my bedroom, and I replaced it, and moved the Samsung out into the living room to replace the 1080P tv out there. I don't watch tv in the living room that often, so I could deal with the slow power on time, losing the connection to my Mac, allowing my Sonos beam to turn it on, but not to turn it off, and the pestering for me to give it an internet connection out there. I don't trust Samsung to have a connection to my network, so it isn't going to happen. I have an Apple TV for my streaming needs, so I don't use the "smart" part of the smart tv. I went to mount it on my VESA mount, and discovered that the mounting holes are recessed, and none of my bolts were long enough. I looked up the manual, which said it needed M8 43-45mm. I almost ordered some of those, but went with this kit, and I am so glad that I did. The 45MM worked with the two bottom holes, but the top holes were more shallow, and needed 35mm with one of the smaller spacers. If I had only ordered what Samsung's manual said, I would still be frustrated, and having to make another purchase. Everything was well labelled in the package, and there were lots of options. I highly recommend this kit, and definitely would order from Vivo again. Samsung, on the other hand, is dead to me, and I will never buy another one of their products again. I have largely felt that way about the TV for years, but this experience clinched it. Samsung sucks.

You can wade through the hardware store and take a chance on finding the right bolts or you can order this, have it delivered to your home and have everything you need to mount your tv's. Great idea and a tremendous value. I highly recommend this package.
