Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Traditional Round Crepe Pan, 10.25", Cerise

This has to be one of my favorite luxury purchases. The blue coating is gorgeous. This pan cooks crepes so evenly I feel like a gifted cook. (It is used on a 11" induction burner.) The spreader and flipper work perfectly. The enamel, with a little bit of a butter, prevents any sticking. Clean up is so simple, just a light scrub, wash of water, and immediate pat down with a paper towel. The size of the crepes of course aren't restaurant size, but my stovetop's 11" burner wouldn't evenly heat a pan much bigger. The rim of the pan's black enamel will dent a little if it gets banged, so do store in the right space, but otherwise this is a very sturdy pan that will last decades.

I got this on sale during the prime days event so I haven’t had a chance to try it yet. It arrived in perfect condition, no chips on the enamel, no lumps or bumps on the interior surface. Very happy with this purchase!

This is my 12th Le Creuset because they are durable, beautiful, and cook well. I tried many other brands but gave them away. This crepe pan replaces my non-stick Le Creuset pan due to my concern about the PFOA chemical in the nonstick pan. So, I stick to Le Creuset cast iron. The beige ceramic coating on Le Creuset still sticks but the black coding works like a charm with some oil. I use the pan for everything but making crepes. I make individual portion of fried rice, sunny side up eggs, Indian dosa, French chickpea bread (socca), tortilla reheating, Indian Roti, quesadilla, hamburger, crispy cheese sandwich. In other words, this is a small skillet that does not cause the food to stick but make it crispy. You need to put some oil for it to become non stick. The way it is designed, the rough black surface allows the oil to get under your bread or eggs to make it crispy without soaking it in grease. It is lighter than most cast iron pot due to its size and the minimalist design. I don’t have to season it. I just love how functional and versatile this crepe pan is. It should be called nonstick cast-iron skillet. Make sure the pan is hot. Drop a few drops of water to test. Then, grease it well before pouring the batter or eggs on it. These steps are crucial. Otherwise, it will stick. The only complaint is that it is never on sale. So, I paid the full price, which is pretty pricey. But It will last for a lifetime and will survive in a house fire. Just buy it! This is the best non-toxic nonstick cookware alternative. The photo shows you that it is the size of my soup plate and fits nicely inside the sink. This after I made fried rice. Nothing was sticking and the bottom rice is crispy like paella. I love paella. Yummy!

This pan was used and said so in the description. It was used once it looked and not cleaned but Le Creuset is very easy to clean. Love this pan and truly a great deal sometimes buying used/like new. This pan needed seasoning for it to be nonstick for crepes. We will get years of wonderful use from this beautiful pan. :)

Superb crepe pan - crepes and pancakes are cooked evenly and do not get stuck. Easy to use but heavy (cast iron) pan is perfect for my induction stove top. Very easy to clean Also looks great as a serving plate, and keeps the crepes warm for at least 10-15 minutes. Would make a nice gift for anyone who has kids and loves to cook, since it is not a cheap "must have"item.

Pan is amazing and I think this purchase is worth it for that alone. The spatula that came with it was not smooth, the pointy edge was kinda blunted and the wood was splintering a bit. I bought a new one at the store for <$10 to avoid getting splinters in my crepes. Other than that I am 100% satisfied with the pan.

While I have yet to make a crepe this is perfect for tortillas! Follow the instructions - you’ll find it heats evenly and clean-up is a breeze…and it’s Beautiful! Wish I’d found this sooner - i expect it will outlive me. - I loVe it!!

Excellent crepe pan! I looked for a long time before taking the $ plunge to buy this crepe pan. Heats quickly & stays hot & allowed me to make excellent crepes. Let the pan cool completely before washing, as instructed, clean up was easy. The pan is heavy but that's fine with me because i just leave it on the one burner I am using & if I wanted to move it to another place on our cook top I could just slide it over.

Another beautiful addition to my Le Creuset collection. Cannot say enough good things about cast iron; easy to clean, easy to cook on, and produces delicious results. Can use this pan for tortillas as well as crepes.
